The Monday Piece - New Season Finds

This week's Monday Piece is on new season finds! As always i'm loving grey and black, so have chosen a few pieces with different textures and fabrics so it's not completely simple and plain. To bring a little colour i've added some pastel pink bits, i neeeeed that handbag and the Marc Jacobs lipgloss is so pretty! The asymmetric hoodie and Alexander Wang crop top are two of my favourites, they're both pricey but they're so versatile and great quality. Classic, easy to wear finds are available on the high street too, the grey t-shirt is only £7.99, and the jeans £30.00 both from H&M!

The Monday Piece - Autumn Trainers

This week's Monday Piece is on Autumn trainers! I love trainers and comfy shoes when it starts getting chillier and wetter, so have picked my top 3 pairs that are mega versatile, classic and a great new season buy. The Converse hi tops are so easy to wear, and can be thrown on with anything, plus I love the slightly grungy look they have! I've not got a pair of Nike Roshe's and think they're pretty hipster, but again are classic and comfy. Vans are hard wearing as the sole is so thick and look cute with skinny jeans and an oversized jumper - all pairs are black and white as I think they're the most easy going and casual...I need to pick a pair but want all three, please help me decide!

The Monday Piece - Ilumi

This week's Monday Piece is on ilumi gluten free food! I was sent some of the Chinese takeaway range to try, and thought I'd give it a go as I'm always looking for different food suitable for coeliacs. It's all mega convenient too as you put it in the microwave for 2 minutes or less and it's cooked - ideal for people like me who struggle with even basic meal prep! The Kha Ghai Soup was one of my favourite dishes, the texture was smooth and the chicken is so tasty, I found it filled me up too which is always a good thing. The package also included beef in black bean sauce, pork and rice choices - so there was lots to try, all of which I really enjoyed! I'd never tried gluten free beer but loved the light feel to it and it was just right with the Chinese food. It's so tricky trying to find versatile, easy to cook, yummy gluten free food, so I'd definitely recommend ilumi. There are lots of other ranges and choices, and as well as being gluten free, they're also nut free and milk free. Plus the meals are healthy and full of natural, fresh ingredients. So tasty!

The Monday Piece - Label Lab

This week's Monday Piece is on Label Lab at House of Fraser! I've been doing a fair bit of shopping recently, and am loving preparing for Autumn. I got this wrap style jumper from the Label Lab section in House of Fraser, i chose the khaki style as i thought it'd go well with black skinny jeans and boots. It's quite light and is great for layering under a jacket or coat for when it gets a little more chill. It comes in loads of colours, i also got a few more pieces from there collection that i can't wait to wear!

Topshop Jamie Jeans, Life Update

Finally back with an outfit post after what seems like forever...I've been neglecting my blog recently as it's all change in my life, so i've not really had the time, or enthusiasm to do much on it to be honest. I usually keep my blog as my fun hobby, where i keep it real and light, no heavy shiz, but I kinda feel like I owe a little explanation as to where i've been, what's going on, and what happens next...

So my boyfriend and I broke up, after having been together for over six and half years - we met in uni, and fell crazy in love, moved in together, spent all our time together, and had the best time...but circumstances change, people do stupid things, and you realise you can really only rely on yourself, no matter how much you love someone or want to make it work, brutal decisions have to be made, and you have to man up and deal with the consequences.

So this all means that i've moved back with my family in Malvern, and G has moved back to Wales, which feels like a million miles away, but what can ya do. It's time for me to be independant, do my own thing, and chill out for a bit. It's a good job I found this amazing top in H&M for £12.99, otherwise i probably would've had a breakdown. More posts coming soon.
