The Monday Piece - Selfridges Urban Decay Event

This week's Monday Piece is on the Selfridges Urban Decay event! Last week i popped over to Selfridges in Birmingham with Hayley to the Urban Decay event. We were talked through their latest collections and shown some of their most loved products like the Naked palettes and highly pigmented eye shadows. I've always been a fan of Urban Decay and their fun make up, for nights out and special occasions you can't really go wrong with a little glitter and their thick eye-liner. We were also shown their new lightweight foundations, and neutral products that can be worn during the day, so they're ideal for work as it's fairly understated and has a more fresh feel to it. Selfridges Birmingham has a unique Urban Decay product just launched, exclusive to them, called 'The Vault' - featuring a huge case full of lip-liners and glosses, it's a make up lovers paradise! It's a limited edition product, and only available in Selfridges Birmingham, so act fast if you want one. I loved seeing the full range of Urban Decay make up available, and have seen a few pieces i'd like to try out including their make up setting spray and Naked lip glosses!

Prom Night - Sherry London

With Prom season fast approaching, it's time to look at prom styles, dresses, make up and glam accessories! Sherry London has a huge range of pretty prom dresses, including sleek and sassy styles as well as princess dresses and jewel covered pieces! Ideal for prom season, the dresses are reasonably priced and come in all different sizes including a plus size range, and they also do custom made dresses if you want to stand out and go for something a little more personal. As well as prom styles, Sherry London stock bridesmaid and cocktail dresses, ideal for Summer weddings and events. I've featured some dresses below and added a few special bits too, for me prom night is mega girly so a few sparkles is necessary! The Sherry London sale section is ideal if you're on a budget, though it ends soon so if you have a prom to go to then be sure to snap one of these pretty dresses up :).

The Monday Piece - Hipanema Outfit

This week's Monday Piece is on my Hipanema outfit! Last week i showed you my fab new multi friendship style bracelet from Hipanema at Hengelo, so this week i'm showing you how i've been wearing it - odd weather means i'm still in my jeans and lightweight jumpers, it's my favourite kind of chilled outfit for weekends anyway so i like it :). Though when Summer comes i'll be wearing it with cut offs and an oversized white tee. This black stitched jumper was a great find in H&M for £15, that great that i also bought it in grey!

The Monday Piece - Hipanema at Hengelo

This week's Monday Piece is on Hipanema at Hengelo! I'll be featuring this in an outfit post soon but wanted to show you how pretty it was close up! Hipanema have been on my radar for a little while now, the cool styles and relaxed boho vibes are ideal for Summer and festival season. All Hipanema bracelets are unique and handmade, featuring multi bracelets all connected with a magnetic metal clasp, the stacked up look is effortless and chic! I love the beadwork and multi colours, it's bright without being brash or too bold. Also...it glows in the dark, which kind of blew my mind! This style is ideal for me, but if you're more of a fan of muted shades they also come in golds, blues and bronze colours. Hengelo has a fab selection of Hipanema and some pieces are currently on sale so if you fancy one be sure to snap it up!

The Monday Piece - Portugal Holiday Photos April 2015

This week's Monday Piece is on my Portugal holiday photos! Nick and i have just returned from a week in Portugal, so i thought it would be nice to share our pictures of the trip! We stayed in Albufeira in the Algarve, in between the old town and new town, and booked a fairly late deal for a bit of chill time and sunshine. The weather was pretty decent with some beautiful sunny days, then a few overcast days too, though it was bikini and shorts and t-shirt weather throughout which was fab. We had an ace time and made the most of relaxing, so most days were spent by the pool or at the beach, where we drank iced tea and sunbathed. We ate SO much food, and ended up eating out twice a day which was amazing - the food there is incredible and so tasty, we had a few local dishes like Cataplana, paella, Portuguese steak, traditional pastries and lots of sea food. If you're a foodie i recommend it as the choice is huge as there are so many restaurants and eateries to choose from. We stayed in a great hotel where we had our own apartment with a balcony, so was lovely to have our own space and peace and quiet! The holiday was just what we wanted, and we've come back feeling relaxed and refreshed! Enjoy the photos :).
