What I wore today - Halloween skulls and skeletons

I hope your having a great Halloween today, I mentioned I'm not a huge fan of this holiday but I've still made a little effort with my outfit. I went to Southampton yesterday with my boyfriend and we stayed the night, I've not been before but really enjoyed it, though I only really saw the shops and views of the docks! Made me want to go on a cruise so bad, best start saving as they don't come cheap. I really tried not to spend any money...but I did, only a little though so I'm not feeling massively guilty. It's my birthday in a few weeks so I'm going to try to limit my spending in the run up, everyone's talking about Christmas too which makes me think I should start planning presents etc. Anyway I digress, have a great night if your going out or staying in, and don't forget to keep warm!

What I wore today - asos navajo poncho

I enjoy simple tastes when it comes to fashion but some days I just crave something a little more *different* - I'm travelling down to Southampton tonight so needed something comfy, warm and cosy, so I picked my favourite poncho from asos! I must admit its not to everyone's tastes, but I think it's perfect for winter and chilly days like today, especially as I'll be stuck in a car for a few hours shortly. It can be worn lots of different ways and although a little guerish, it actually matches up quite well with other pieces in my wardrobe.
What do you think of my cape/poncho?

The Monday Piece - Safari Park, me, pictures

I'm being a bit naughty today doing my Monday Piece about me and some snaps of what I've been up to this last week or so! My life is usually a mix of work, going to the gym, chilling at home, eating out and random days out at the weekend. We went to West Midlands Safari Park on Saturday and had such a fab time, both me and my boyfriend are massive animal lovers so days out spending time with animals is always a winner!
From right to left; on the train to go shopping, feeding goats at the Safari Park, tasty tapas out, giraffe, card from Izzie on my desk, new Etnies trainers (outfit post coming soon), Hello Kitty Jelly Beans, more Costa.
I hope you've had a fabulous start to the week, what have you been up to recently?

What I wore today - chunky open knit jumper and neon

I don't ever want to take this neon beanie off, it's one of my favourite things I've bought in recent weeks - I'm such a fan of neon and am definitely tempted to get one in yellow too! It's so windy at the moment, my hair was flying everywhere this morning when I took these pictures.
I went to the safari park yesterday and had such a great day, I always recommend it to people as its such a laugh and I love feeding all the animals, even if they do slobber all over your hands!
I've got a few new things coming this week so keep an eye out for new bits and bobs, winter fashion is my favourite, cosy jumpers, biker boots and statement coats are some of my favourite things to wear. I've worn these faux lita boots to death, I'm on the look out for a new pair but can't decide what colour or style, I'm tempted to get a studded pair - if you know of any good ones please let me know. Did anyone go out for Halloween this weekend? I must admit its really not my thing, I'm rather superstitious so usually hide away during Halloween so I didn't go out/celebrate, instead I stayed in and watched Strictly Come Dancing. I'd love to see some of your outfits though :)
Off out for the day today, enjoy your Sunday!

What I wore today - embellished khaki jumper and oversized jacket

An outfit post, hooray! I can't even tell you how pleased I am to finally get an outfit post up, it feels like its been forever - I got my boyfriend to meet me at work in my lunch hour just so I could take these snaps! I've been living in this coat recently, as it's oversized I can fit all sorts underneath including snuggly jumpers which is great. Im also wearing a new jumper i picked up last weekend in birmingham, its from Zara and has diamontes on the shoulder and down the arm, i love a bit of sparkle. It looks quite grey in the photos but is most definitely khaki in real life!
I've just got back in from a few drinks and tapas with some work mates, we went to a new restaurant on the river and it was really lovely, although overpriced but that's what people expect these days so it's ok! Not sure what the weekend will bring but hopefully something fun, follow me on twitter and you can keep up with all my pictures/outfits and generally other stuff I do :) Have a fun and fabulous weekend!

What I wore today - accessories, fringed bag, spike necklace

Hello, bit of a different post today - Its all about the accessories. I won this bag on Izzie's blog so had to show you how pretty it is - thank you Izzie! I don't have a bag like this so it's lovely to have a change! This weeks flying by, we've hired a newbie at work so it feels busier than ever, I went to yoga last night and have generally being doing other bits and bobs throughout the week. It's just taken what's normally a 5 minute drive, 30 minutes to get back from work, cant believe how busy the roads were - by the time i got back it was pretty much dark so the pictures aren't the greatest! The weather man tells me it's going to be as chilly as 1 degree towards the end of this week, I'll be cracking out all my coats and warm jackets in these next coming weeks. Brrr!
How your enjoying the week, I'm hoping to do an outfit post tomorrow so don't forget to check back :)

The Monday Piece - Barry M nails

This Monday Piece is on Barry M nail varnish - as you'll know If you're a regular reader, I'm not a beauty blogger - I'm all about fashion and although I love wearing make up its not my forte and I always wish I could be better at hair and beauty! However...I adore nail varnish, it's easy to apply, comes in hundreds of different shades, and always looks gorgeous. Barry M is my favourite polish, they have a huge selection of paints - matte, gel, glitter, metallic and crackle there's a style to suit everyone and combinations to match/clash with any outfit. At only £2.99 a pop and lots of applications in each bottle, they're purse friendly as well as long lasting and fab quality. What's your favourite Barry M shade? Can you live without nail varnish?

What I wore today - leopard print top and baggy jeans

Hope you've had a great weekend, I'm currently having a nice chill out day with my little brother at my house. He was even kind enough to take these outfit pictures for me, i think he's done pretty well actually! I popped into Birmingham yesterday to browse the shops so obviously came back with a few bits, the shops are full of pretty, embellished clothes at the moment - everyone's starting to role out the Christmas stock and Selfridges even had their Christmas trees up! Its nuts, halloweens not even happened yet!
Last night me and my boyfriend had a quiet one, ate lots if food, watched strictly and then went to 2 Tesco's - wow my life is crazy right?! I love a nice relaxed weekend though. I've not worn this leopard print top in ages so thought it would brighten up my Sunday, as it's a casual day I wore my baggy jeans too - they're too comfy, I adore dropped crotch trousers (Zara have some fitted black ones atm that I'm itching to get my mitts on).
Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

What I wore today - biker jacket and leopard wedges

Happy Friday!Ive been missing on the blogging front this week as I've had a nasty cold and ear infection, but I'm feeling much more me now so here's an outfit post, hooray! Apart from being poorly I've been working and doing other normal boring stuff, its been a nice quiet week for once. I had a little meet up at lunch today with my mum and boyfriend which was nice, and planning on going out for a few drinks tonight, I'll be on the lemonade though as I'm on antibiotics, boooring. Not sure what the weekend will bring, maybe a little shopping and lunch...do you have any nice plans?
Wearing my favourite jacket again today, I just love it too much, I was in a funny mood and couldn't decide what I wanted to wear so kept it pretty simple but dressed it up a bit with a few accessories - I realise these leopard shoes may be way too garish for some of you but I adore the print and they're fury and everything (a winner in my book!). Have a fabulous night!

What I'm wearing today - neon pink beanie and Mango wool coat

A bit of pink today with this neon beanie bought from River Island at the weekend, I love a good beanie for autumn! Also showing off my new Mango coat which I totally adore, it's really oversized and warm plus matches the majority of my wardrobe which is great. I always buy too many coats and end up only wearing 3-4 in a rotation during the autumn and winter, but this one I know I'll rewear lots so I'm pleased! I'm working today but had to go to the doctors as i've had a nasty cold for over a week, turns out I have an ear infection so will be resting up for the next few days - i'll also be wearing more cosy hats like this to keep my ears safe from the wind! Have you been caught out by the flu yet that everyone seems to have? It's pretty gross really so stay warm and snuggled.

What I wore today - Lavish Alice crosses tunic

Hope you've had a good weekend, I can't believe it's Sunday night already, weekends go far too quickly! Friday night me and my boyfriend popped over to Malvern to see my family for a bit which was fun, my sister and mum always crack me up so much - my mum was showing off her new Vera Wang pj's, she's so cute! Then Saturday we went to a farm park in Herefordshire where we went on a tractor ride and fed the animals, it was really good fun although a little chilly. Today we went into town, met my sister and did a little shopping and lunch though not much in the shops really appealed to me - I've been doing way more Internet shopping recently, I find it so much easier and there's way more choice too. The outfit I have on is quite similar to what I wore at The Look Show, i thought id keep it simple today with black and white. I adore this Lavish Alice tunic and think its really versatile - I wrapped up in a scarf and leggings to keep warm though, in not sure if I'm brave enough to wear it on its own! Im just chilling tonight catching up on some TV and munching on some yummy food, what did you get up to this weekend?

What I wore today - Mango bad top and waxed trousers

It's Friiiiiday! Well done for getting through the week everyone, hope you have some fun plans for the weekend. It's been a pretty busy week again for me, especially at work, so i'm pleased it's the weekend so I can chill out and relax. I went for lunch today with an old friend which was lovely as always, i'm so full now though but can't help think of what i'll be having for dinner - i'm so greedy organised aren't I? Wearing a new top today from Mango, it's grey and it says bad on it so i knew immediately i was going to have it. I love these trousers so much, they're mega versatile and got them for a snip at a tenner reduced from £45.99 in the sale - i've worn them lots and am considering a pair in red or burgundy... I also bought a new coat from Mango yesterday, it's oversized, tweed like fabric and boyfriend style and i adore it - for those of you who can't wait to see it you can find it right here, it's a proper bargain and looks fab so if you're thinking of buying one i'd snap it up before they sell out! Have a great Friday people - and don't forget to follow me on TWITTER @heidi_likes !!

What I wore today - Mango jumper and outdoor pictures

Hello, hope you've had a good Wednesday! I got to wear my new Mango jumper today, hooray - I couldn't decide between the blue and cream or the red and cream, Kate Moss models this for the brand and looks simply beautiful (as always), but I went for the red as its not a colour I'd usually go for - I'm trying to buy a few 'different' things at the moment, my wardrobe is mega smart when it comes to autumn/winter featuring a tonne of grey, black, white and neutrals...saying that I bought a grey tweedy style coat today, it was too nice to resist!
I've had to start taking some pictures outside as the nights ate getting darker each day, and the light is pretty shoddy in my dressing room. To be honest I much prefer taking them inside with a white background, do they look ok outside? I'm not convinced...
I didn't realise how matchy this look was until I looked at the pictures, what with the blue nails, red jumper and shoes too. I'm off to make some Thai food, enjoy your evening.
