The Monday Piece - August Outfit Snap

This week's Monday Piece is on August outfit snap! Since picking up these shorts in Croatia I've been wearing them so often as the denim is super soft and comfy, they're not stiff at all and sit so nicely on my waist. I've also been loving any form of off the shoulder too this summer, they look cute and it's nice to show a bit of skin occasionally :)

The Monday Piece - Venice Snapshot

This week's Monday Piece is on Venice snapshot! Nick and I are currently in Italy with friends and spent today in Venice. As it was a hot sunny day we took a Gondola ride on the canals to see some of the cities hotspots! We absolutely love Italy and had a great day sightseeing and enjoying the narrow streets :).

The Monday Piece - Trsat Castle

This week's Monday Piece is on Trsat Castle! This was one of our top things to do in Rijeka as the castle and its history date back to the thirteenth century so we wanted to check it out and appreciate the Croatian culture. The castle is at the top of the hill overlooking the ocean and gorge where the views are breathtaking. We spent some time walking around the castle grounds and climbing to the top of the turret - the site itself dates back even further to Roman times exemplifying it's significance to Rijeka. It's definitely worth a trip up the hill if you're in Rijeka :).

The Monday Piece - Three Amigos

This week's Monday Piece is on three amigos! My sister captured this candid shot of me, my beau and her beau at Trsat Castle whilst we were away in Rijeka. It was a super hot day so we all wore a pair of comfy cut offs and sandals - mine are Gumbies and I'm actually in love with the recycled flip flop style, I absolutely recommend them if you fancy something a little different to the usual flip flop :).
