Weekend Fringe

I'm still loving this fringed suede jacket from Warehouse, it's so soft too! A quick outfit update from this weekend, sticking to my fave neutral colours as per usual - spent Saturday shopping in Worcester and grabbing pizza at Zizzi's which was tasty as ever, my weekends often revolve around food - the best way!

The Monday Piece - Brunch at All Bar One

This week's Monday Piece is on brunch at All Bar One! Last Saturday Nick and I headed over to Cheltenham for the day for some shopping and to try the brunch menu at All Bar One - I'm not an early riser, especially on a weekend, so it's ideal that All Bar One serve brunch until 12 during the week and 1 at weekends!

We arrived just after midday and had a reserved table in a cute window area so we could spy on the posh passers by in the plush Montpellier district. The breakfast and brunch menu is plentiful, with gluten free and veggie choices too - Nick chose eggs royal and I picked a big portion of bacon, potato and onion hash with a decaf vanilla latte that went down a treat! The meal came in about 10 minutes so was really quick which is just you want when you're peckish on a Saturday morning, the food was so good I had a double portion...a bit naughty but I couldn't resist! The pricing was reasonable too, and I loved the big selection of hot and cold drinks - Nick had a chilled kiwi lime and mint drink that was mega refreshing and tasty!

As you can see there were clean plates all round, I must mention the service too as it was bang on - the staff were chatty and friendly and mega helpful with my gluten allergy, I will definitely be heading back to All Bar One for brunch again soon.

Gearooz and The Changing Look of Music

The music industry is as big and crazy as ever, the piece below includes details of some of the industries most successful and exciting acts and how their fashion choices have changed since they started out! I always love a little look at what the celebs are wearing, just because i'm nosey - i'm a fan of the laid back LA look - ripped jeans, a vintage band tee and some overpriced trainers and accessories! I'm all about that fuss free style and like to keep it simple and versatile! I'm not so fussy when it comes to music, though my heart will always lie with metal, i'm partial to something a little more upbeat and party friendly too - besides if out in a bar/club/house party you kind of get used to making the most of whatever is being played!

More and more people are trying their hand at being a DJ, especially celebs, and are investing in their own hi-tech equipment like speakers, decks and headphones. If you're into hosting house parties and are into your music, and find it expensive hiring out DJ's and equipment, it may be worth looking into treating yourself to some of the equipment available online at sites like Gearooz - with regular sales and a price promise guarantee, there are bargains to be had across their massive range of DJ gear! Their range of interesting lighting is ideal for parties and evenings full of dancing, the giant disco balls look so fun and are a party essential! Do you love to host a party?

Slouchy Jersey

I picked this American Football jersey up from Victoria's Secret for comfy days, i love the slouchy style, it's ideal for throwing on with my ripped skinnies! Also jumping on the choker trend, this one's from ASOS and has a double layer, it's bordering a little too hipster for my usual style but i kinda like it!

My favourite interior colours are baby pinks, greys, black and white - it's feminine but not too over the top, and works well for all seasons too. The little tea cup set is a bargain at only £4 and is so pretty.

Hot New Season Shoes

A lot of my personal browsing time is spent looking at shoes...new in styles, overpriced styles, beautiful and hideous styles...i just love shoes! With a desire to be different, there are lots of fairly jazzy shoes available to buy on the high street and online, i know what i like and tend to stick to what i know, but occasionally when i see something different and a little unusual, it gets my fashion juices flowing. We need to talk about the hairy Gucci loafers...personally i think they're fab, they're so ridiculous and inappropriate, but they have a unique print and i just know my tootsies would be soooo cosy in them! They're mega $$$ though and of course only available at exclusive retailers...though dupes have started popping up online so if you fancy the style at a fraction of the price then click here.
I'm also a sucker for pretty sandals and heels in Spring, La Moda have an amazing selection as well as Missy Empire and high street stores like River Island and also Brantano - plus they have 30% off all styles so it's definitely worth a look! I'll be pairing my sandals and wrap around heels with my basic staples like ripped skinny jeans, a fresh white top and my leather jacket until its warm enough to go sans sleeves!

April Showers

Having a few April Shower issues over here in Malvern! It's ok though as i get to re-wear my Charlotte Simone scarf over and over! I wore this into town at the weekend to run some errands, did a little mooching and picked up something tasty for dinner, even had time to grab a little tea and cake with Nick. Then went to the boxing in the evening which was fun, and had a winner on the grand national too which has gone straight into the shoe fund, hooray! Also debuting my new lighter hair which i'll be doing a full blog post on soon :).

Lifestyle - Summer Decking and Barbecues

Whenever i think of Summer, i think about chilling in the garden after a long day at work with my feet up, enjoying some tasty food! It is such an awesome feeling so i've been getting inspired on how to make the garden look better, and how i can spend more time out there making the most of the longer evenings. Arbordeck are one of the leading manufacturers of plush garden decking, i've been checking out their site and garden transformations and it looks amazing! There are so many options available so it's important to choose the right type of decking to ensure you're getting the best value for money and something that is going to last.

Arbordeck provides you with decking products manufactured from slow-grown timber to provide arguably the most dimensionally stable, long-lasting softwood decking on the market. They are also the exclusive UK distributor of TrexTranscend, the composite decking revolution. For the premium-grade products, Arbordeck only use timber from northern latitudes. This is because the trees in these regions grow slowly, which means the wood fibres are packed closely together. After manufacture, this close-packed structure gives decking its strength. What’s more, when the timber absorbs rainwater, it expands less than many other timbers. As a result, there is reduced movement, which in turn reduces the strain against the fixings and minimises the risk of boards twisting, warping or splitting. Arbordeck also work closely with PEFC and FSC®, the global benchmark for responsible forest management, so you can rest assured that all of their timber comes from sustainably managed forests - plus Arbordeck now offers the leading Trex composite decking and railing system, Trex is manufactured from 95 per cent recycled materials, such as wood and plastic waste. I'm eyeing up their blog and inspiration pages and fancy myself some plush neutral coloured decking and a hot tub!

As soon as there's a flash of sun, most Brits run to Tesco to get the barbecue treats in so they can really enjoy the short British summer! Find your ideal BBQ in the large selection of gas and charcoal barbecues at Chessington Garden Centre and their online shop for all things barbecue related. Make the most of the warm weather and be the best host with their range of BBQs and accessories. From well-known brands such as Char-Broil, Dancook, Garland, Landmann and  Weber, there's a barbecue for everyone with any level or lack of skill! I've been browsing and discovered these BBQ Pizza Boxes, you pop your pizza into the specially designed box and place the whole thing on the barbecue, it then cooks you up an amazing, authentic, stone baked pizza in minutes! Chessington Garden Centre also have lots of garden living bits to enhance your garden space, i love the cosy and comfy outdoor furniture, gimme!
How do you enjoy spending time in the garden?

Spring Health and Well-being

With Spring fast approaching i've been focussing more on what makes me feel good, and how i can improve it! So i've composed a health and well-being list full of items that are getting me inspired and in the mood. To be fair i usually try my best to eat well, with a coeliac diet, making healthy eating choices like limiting high sugary and fatty foods, and heading off to the gym 4-5 times a week, but of course i'm always looking for something more to continue a healthy lifestyle. I've been loving anything coconut related - whether it's coconut spray for my hair, a coconut drink to rehydrate me, or raw coconut oil to cook with i can't get enough of it, i recommend it if you're trying to promote your own personal well-being as it has lots of benefits, and tastes and smells so good!

Allergen week is coming up from the 25th April - 1st May, as the season for hay fever is starting to kick in, so it's important to make sure you have the right supplement so stop sniffling noses and itchy eyes - a great website for all things allergen and supplement related is Multivits, with free delivery on all orders and a huge choice of health and well being supplements and solutions, it's worth checking out. And if you are a sufferer of hay fever, it's worth giving their Pycnogenol supplement a try as it includes natural plant extracts that work as an antioxidant, to help with a runny nose, itchy eyes and general sensitivities too!

When the weather gets a little better, and the nights longer, it makes working out later on in the day not so tough, i love to get as much fresh air as i can, even if it's just a walk around the block to clear my head and get out and about - i know it's not technically exercise as such, but i'm pretty eager to have a go on one of the hover board segways, they look so much fun and i think it would be awesome zooming around on one during a sunny day in the park! Not sure if i can justify the price tag though!

Of course new gym wear is always inspiring me, and the twin set by Ted Baker from House of Fraser is no exception, it's almost TOO pretty for the gym, it's fab. Plus a few Spring beauty products have caught my eye like the new Marc Jacobs gel foundation, and plush haircare products too :).

Travel With The Visa To Home Service

VisaToHome have a revolutionary way of arranging travel - sorting out a Visa an be a little tricky, especially for first time travellers! Now Brits can arrange visas for foreign travel from the comfort of their homes. Russian project VisaToHome – which launched the first service in the world for arranging visas without even leaving your own home – has begun offering the same service in the UK
Arranging a visa is an extremely complicated task. Visas for the same country can have different prices, different visa rules and different document requirements, depending on the applicant's nationality. People who live in Britain value time savings and excellent service standards – the same priorities by which VisaToHome run their company.
Their on-line service has been widely recommended in Russia, where it launched at the end of 2013. All users need to do to get a visa when using the VisaToHome service is visit the company's website, choose the country they need, answer a few questions, receive a list of the necessary documents, and then upload photos of the documents to the site. Visa specialists check the documents and fill out the application forms. A DHL courier will then arrive at a time of applicant's choice to collect the originals of the documents, and bring a passport back with a brand new visa. Nothing could be easier! It saves a load of time, hassle and stress and makes arranging your holiday that bit easier.

For countries whose applications require the collection of biometric data – such as Russia – VisaToHome offers a mobile biometric data service. If you are either unable or unwilling to attend the Visa Centre, you can arrange for the mobile biometric data service to visit you at any convenient address for you. You can hand all your documents to the staffer who takes your biometric data – and then your passport and visa will be returned to you on completion.

VisaToHome services are available for the following countries – Russia, China, the USA, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, India and the Schengen countries – for people who aren't UK nationals, but live in Great Britain. Click here to head over to the website and check it out!
