The Monday Piece - Harajuku Photo Spots
This week's Monday Piece is on Harajuku photo spots! My friend Harriet and I were shopping in a make up store in Harajuku and they randomly had this fake pink swimming pool upstairs so of course we took it as an opportunity to get some genki photos! Harajuku is awesome for discovering places that are ideal to pap so you can take home the cutest memories :).

The Monday Piece - Komagome Park and Garden
This week's Monday Piece is on Komagome park and gardens! On Thursday Nick and I spent the morning in the stunning, green Komagome park and gardens. They date back hundreds of years and are impeccably kept, a must see if you're in Tokyo and crave a little piece of nature!

The Monday Piece - Posh Coffee in Tokyo
This week's Monday Piece is on posh coffee in Tokyo! Although I love the small, independent, traditional Japanese coffee shops, sometimes I crave something a little more continental and snazzy. The Mandarin Oriental satisfies all of my needs and more, with it's large open front and fresh crisp design, it always feels like such a treat grabbing a coffee and settling down for a bit of people watching! It's easily accessible from Tokyo station or a 10 second walk from Nihonbashi station.

The Monday Piece - Rosegal Halloween Want List
This week's Monday Piece is on Rosegal Halloween want list! Rosegal always have an amazingly huge selection of Halloween stuff - whether it's head to toe costumes, some sassy head wear, or decorations for parties they have it ALL. What makes it even better is the Rosegal halloween sale where everything is now up to 70% off! They do the cutest glow in the dark temporary tattoos that are around £1.00 and other make up bits too, so it's ideal if you're on a budget and just want something small to mark the occasion. I love the silicone skull ice tray and for a few £ they're great value and so much fun, not just for Halloween. I'm always a sucker for velvet, especially when the weather gets cooler, so my top pick costume from the site has to be this full length velvet hooded dress - it's so glam and the wide sleeves and hood make it even better, i love it! I can't keep scrolling through the home pieces too, the wall stickers, mats, cushions and everything else are beyond freaky and scary (obviously some of them are also cute ha), this escaping zombie wall sticker is a tiny £4.00 and the most awesome decoration for a party!

The Monday Piece - Mount Takao
This week's Monday Piece is on Mount Takao! Last week Nick and I escaped Tokyo and took a mini hike up Mount Takao - less than an hour from Tokyo it's the ideal place to be with nature and enjoy the fresh mountain air. It's usually fairly busy but we went on a rainy afternoon and saw a very small handful of other walkers, we didn't let the weather ruin it and had a great afternoon exploring the mountain. There's temples and shrines all up the mountain too ideal for stop offs!
