The Monday Piece - Wagamamas Gluten Free Menu

This week's Monday Piece is on Wagamamas gluten free menu! I feel like I've been waiting forever for Waga's to update their GF menu. I used to eat there so often until they reduced the menu down by so many options BUT they have just updated it again so you can now grab GF curries, pad Thai, puddings and even ramen. I was ready for the tasting so went to Birmingham during half term to sample it and it was very yummy indeed. They've also got new vegan options which is always needed, so there is something for everyone, hooray :).

The Monday Piece - Valentine's in York

This week's Monday Piece is on Valentine's in York! Nick surprised me last weekend by taking me away for Valentine's weekend to York - he picked me up from school on Friday and we travelled up from Worcester. When we arrived we grabbed an easy dinner from Waitrose, as we stayed in an Airbnb in the centre and got lots of rest ready for the rest of the weekend. We explored York Minster, did some shopping, mooched around the city and ate lots of yummy food. The weather was beyond grim and did not stop raining but we persevered and didn't let it dampen our mood! We had such a cute time and would love to return in the summer perhaps - it's such a pretty city and it is rammed full of history, medieval buildings and even has amazingly preserved city walls complete with battlements :).

The Monday Piece - Traditional Slovak Pancakes

This week's Monday Piece is on traditional Slovak pancakes! With shrove Tuesday coming up I wanted to share the most delicious Slovak pancakes I had whilst I was in Bratislava. There is a giant selection of pancake houses with lots of gluten free options so breakfast was easy and so tasty - I chose the classic white chocolate and poppy seed pancakes and they were SO yummy - also the prices were around €1.50 per plate, making them even sweeter :).

The Monday Piece - Danube Views

This week's Monday Piece is on Danube views! I've already raved about the prettiness of Bratislava and the awesome views from the UFO Tower, but this time I wanted to take a look at the views the other side. The huge river can be followed by eye for miles and stretches through the middle of the city. On a sunny day you also get scenes of the grand Trsat Castle too - during the summer river trips and cruises are really popular, it's no wonder with such natural beauty :).
