Zara Gingham Skort

A quick outfit update from the bank holiday weekend in Australia! It's been lovely and sunny so making the most of wearing my shorts and a t-shirt - I picked up this Zara gingham skort in the sale before we came out here for £5.99, such a bargain! I love the style and as it's a skort you don't have to worry about the length as you're always protected by the extra material, the frill and gingham style make it mega girly and fun so I've grunged mine up with a new Slayer t-shirt that I bought a few weeks ago at an Australian store - it's from the men's department but the comfy slightly oversized fit is ideal for me.
This weekend we took a short tram and bus ride to Burleigh Heads where we visited the national park, it's so beautiful there and is made up of lush green rainforest surrounded by the sea so we took a rainforest walk to admire the beautiful surroundings and find the best spot to view the ocean. We also walked around the creeks where there are little coves of mini beaches and calm, crystal clear waters, it was amazing to see the natural Australia away from the usual tourist places. After we grabbed an acai bowl in Burleigh town which was delicious, then browsed the local boutiques for some of the prettiest boho pieces ever!
