The Monday Piece - 100 Yen Sushi in Tokyo

This week's Monday Piece is on 100 Yen sushi in Tokyo! Japan is a sushi party, on most streets and in every shop you'll find some form of sushi, whether it's raw, cooked or battered, fish, meat or veggies there is something for everyone and all tastes. The best thing about sushi in Japan is that usually it's pretty cheap, unless you go to a high end sushi restaraunt you can find a full meal for just a few hundred yen. My go to sushi bar is Genki Sushi in Shibuya, it's a sushi train style restaurant where you order your food via iPad and it arrives moments later to your spot at the sushi bar on a train - all plates are only 100 Yen  £0.67 or $0.90, and it's so tasty and fresh. They have a huge variety too including vegan and gluten free which is pretty tough to find in Tokyo! I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for cheap sushi in the middle of Shibuya, expect to queue especially at lunch time but you're not usually waiting for long as the service is speedy!
