What I wore today - Alphabet leggings

I hope you're having a great Friday whatever your up to! I have such bad eye sight so in the week I'm usually in my glasses as opposed to contact lenses, purely because the heating at work dries my eyes out so much so glasses are much better for helping with moisture and what not. I often take them off when I do my OOTD's as I'm quite vein...not one of my better traits but it's the truth! So I thought I'd do one with them on (this pair are from Specsavers), apparently I look like Harry Potter but i can't see the resemblance personally...
I'm definitely jumping on the old alphabet/letter print bandwagon with these leggings, they were only a fiver from H&M so i had to add them to my leggings collection, plus the letters are glittery which is even better. I'm popping out of the office now and braving the rain for a well deserved Costa, wish me luck!

What I wore today - Primark leather sleeved safari jacket and Zara tunic

I've not worn this little coat in ages, I tend to wear things a few times then they often get pushed to the back of a cupbaord unintentionally, but i'm pleased i've rediscovered it as it's so versatile. These shoes are very worn down now as they've been worn to death, i'm on the prowl for a studded pair next...I went and did a little window shopping at the weekend, it's exciting to see the new trends emerging for Spring. There was still a fair bit of nice stuff left in the sale too, i've ordered a few transition bits online that i'm waiting to be delivered - i much prefer to shop instore though so i can try things on properly and get a good feel of the item before i commit to buying, there's nothing worse than the anticipation of an online delivery that turns out to be rubbish quality and poor fitting - hoping the one i'm expecting will be ok! We had the teeniest dusting of snow on Monday Morning, but sadly the rain that came immediately after destroyed it, no snowman building for me, i do love the snow and getting wrapped up in cosy jumpers and going for wintery walks, so fingers crossed we get more.
I hope you've had a good week so far, i'm working today but planning on a good blog stalking session later, i can't get enough of everyones cute pictures in the snow, jealous much...!

Party dress - love tie dye purple maxi dress

As Christmas is just around the corner I thought I'd do a special party dress post! This dress is just divine, the purple and black tie dye is a really nice change to my usual grey and neutral colour palette. I've styled it with my chunky lita boots and a leather jacket but this can also look gorgeous and girly with simple heels and jewellery. The cross over straps and cut out section make it a little more daring, the dress has a tight underneath layer that lets the chiffon overlay float over the top - it's perfect for Christmas and New Years parties, the sizing is spot on too (i'm a small for reference).

What I wore today - inlovewithfashion leather skirt and heart jumper

So pleased with this gorgeous outfit from Inlovewithfashion, I've been wanting a leather skirt for ages and love this pleated version so much, it's kind of stretchy too so fits really nice and can be worn on the hips or high waisted. This jumper is so so soft and lovely and snug too, slouchy jumpers are my favourite for winter, plus anything off the shoulder is that little more cosy. I had to put tights on to leave the house after I took these photos as its so cold, if I was going into town at night I would've braved bare legs but not in the day I'm afraid!
Its been a fab day today catching up with some old but very good girlfriends in Newport, we had a nice lunch and generally gossiped a lot! I told them about my blog too, i was kind of nervous as i don't really speak about it to my real life friends as I'm worried they'll judge me but luckily they were lovely about it. However I've managed to lose my bank card which isn't ideal...I've no idea where I could've even lost it as I'm major cautious when it comes to that kind of stuff, so I guess I won't be spending any money for the next few days!
