What I wore today - Dents fur scarf and velvet Primark clutch

I have officially jumped on the fur scarf bandwagon this year, i've been looking for a black one but when i saw this silvery grey one i knew it had to be mine! It is super warm and fluffy so have been wearing it quite a bit since i picked it up in Birmingham on Saturday. I am so so tired today, we went to Southampton on Tuesday night and stayed the night there, so didn't get back to Worcester until late last night - this last week I've not stopped travelling, so am looking forward to staying in the same place for the next few days! I've been wanting to show off this new clutch bag for a while but haven't had the chance so here it is - can you believe it's from Primark and was only £2.00!! I was quite shocked, it's black velvet with rose gold sparkly studs, perfect for the festive season and the hand loop is great too so you can keep it safe. I am aware i've worn this coat alot recently, it's too easy to chuck on over almost every outfit, variation is on the horizon...promise.

Ooh I have a little something planned for you guys over the next few days so please stay tuned :)
Hope you like the wintery, cosy outfit today!

What I wore today - love wrap dress and office nighthawk studded boots

So I finally got my hands on the Office Nighthawk boots!! It was all very exciting, I got them on Saturday whilst shopping in the Bullring and got a good discount which makes it even better. I'm usually a size 3-4, but more of a 4, however I had to get a 3 in these as they come up rather big, anyway they fit like a dream and are so comfy...i'm sure i'll get my wear out of these beasts. This dress is also new, i've spotted it on lots of bloggers in various colours and really liked the look of it so thought i'd get it whilst they had £10 off - you can find it right here. Also i think they have a special 35% discount on at the moment so snap one of these up whilst you can! It feels really silky and soft and i love how it drapes, it's definitely a classic dress that can be worn in different ways, so am contemplating getting another colour maybe after Christmas.
I had a mega busy weekend with Bicester village on the Friday, Birmingham and the Bull Ring on Saturday, we then went to Cardiff on the Sunday to visit my boyfriends family so didn't get back until last night (Monday) - i'm at work today, had a lovely four days off so it's a bit of a shock to the system. So a pretty busy week so far, already looking forward to a relaxing weekend and it's only Tuesday. Ha!
Hope your week is going well so far.

The Monday Piece - Bicester Village Designer Outlet

I'm doing this weeks Monday Piece on Bicester village, a little designer outlet place in Oxfordshire. As you may know it was my Birthday on Saturday, so on Friday me and my boyfriend ventured down to Oxfordshire to visit the designer outlet we'd heard SO much about! I'd never been before but have been told lots about it from lots of different people. I'm not really familiar with designer outlets as I'm usually a high street shopper and if I want something a bit more fancy or I want to treat myself then I head to Selfridges. I was really looking forward to going to Bicester and had huge expectations...luckily the expectations and anticipation all paid off as it was nothing less than amazing!!
Every store is either high end high street or designer, ranging from Ralph Lauren to Mulberry, Dior and my favourite...Gucci. We drove down and got there at about 10.20am, the shops open at 10, we didn't have to queue to get into the complex, and there was loads of car parking spaces (all parking is free). So by the time we got out the car and got our coats on we headed down to the village so it was about 10.30 - everyone had told us to go early and be there for 10am as they said you will have to queue to get in, then queue some more to get into the shops! I was scared and dreaded waiting outside just to get into a shop, well fortunately there were no queues anywhere, and considering it was 'Black Friday' it wasn't that busy and we could browse all the shops with no elbow barging or people rushing around. The layout is so lovely, it's like a posh high street with the shops lined up opposite one another, inside the shops are very boutiquey, if thats a word - the staff were really friendly and the choice was also amazing and would suit almost everyone. There's also a few cafes and restaurants, as well as a little crepe stand that have a gluten free option - it was super yum.
As its a designer outlet, the prices are obviously going to be more expensive than the standard high street shops - to be honest they were a bit all over the place but EVERYTHING was considerably reduced. Heres my low down on the prices in some of my favourite stores; Mulberry, the cheapest bag was around the £425 mark, though they did have Bayswater bags for that price which were half price however there were no major bargains (the store was being refitted so they didn't have the full selection available). In Jimmy Choo, prices ranged from £90 for scarves to £195-£500 for shoes, there was quite a large choice and the bridal section was gorgeous. Alexander McQueen, scarves and clothing from £90 upwards - they even had some couture pieces that were still thousands of pounds!! Ralph Lauren was enormous, you can pick accessories up for just a few pounds and cosy knitwear for around £20. MaxMara was mega luxurious, they had real fur coats and scarves, but I spotted a sportmax holdall for just £15.00, super bargain. Michael Kors had handbags for under £100 and watches starting at £100, there was a large selection there too and seemed very popular with the other shoppers. Prada and Dior were still quite pricey, though both had leather purses and accessories starting at about £100, D&G was reasonable and had lots of clothes, shoes and bags - prices starting at £50, there were gorgeous classic handbags for around £250 reduced from £700. Finally...GUCCI, again a fab selection and some major bargains to be had there, proper women's handbags starting at less than £100, and scarves and hats for just £50 reduced from almost £200.
Well obviously I didn't come home empty handed, it was my birthday so was treated by my family and boyfriend to this stunning GUCCI handbag. I chose this classic one, it's kind of slate grey in colour and is just gorgeous, sorry for the poor picture quality, it will be featuring in lots of outfits to come so more snaps to follow!
I hope you've found my Bicester village guide helpful, I definitely recommend it as a day out :)

What I wore today - Jeffrey Campbell Foxy US flag shoes

Hello, it's my birthday today so am now 24!! I've had such a wonderful day and got some amazing things. Me and my boyfriend went to Bicester village yesterday and browsed the gorgeous boutiques, so much fun, then this morning saw my mum then went into Birmingham for the afternoon. I always get spoiled on my birthday, life is stressful and not easy so my birthday is a chance for me to relax, get treated, and generally enjoy myself - it only happens once a year and I like it to be all about me!
So this is a fab opportunity for me to show you the new Jeffrey Campbell shoes I bought myself for my birthday, hope you like the outfit :)
No links today as I'm writing this post in a bit of a rush but I'll try to add some later! I can't wait to show you my new things, think you're going to like them so watch this space...

What I wore today - Mango woolen coat and biker boots

Although it's Thursday it's technically my Friday today as i have a four day weekend this week, hooray! I finally got to see my Dad last night so we went for a meal with my brother, sister and boyfriend, which was lovely - he's always got some silly Dad joke to tell us and we have such a laugh so it was great! I went to hospital too yesterday which was helpful, just had the low down on the Coeliac disease and had some more blood tests, glad its all being sorted though as it's a big weight off my shoulders.
I've been trying to change my blog layout for a couple of days now and it doesn't seem to be working...i want to change the background but it's not letting me do it, very frustrating indeed. Any tips or guidance would be much appreciated. Today's a normal day at work, hopefully going for a salted caramel latte from Costa at lunch, best drink ever, and then a chilled night at home tonight as it's super miserable outside.
Have a great day.

What I wore today - chicnova studded jumper and knitted turban

Excuse the extremely shadowy pictures, i couldn't seem to find the right spot to stand in, the sun was beaming all over the place! Also my hair looks a bit green which is rather odd, as it's not at all in real life, but there we are. I hope you've had a fab start to the week, mines been ok so far - busy at work, as per usual, but i had a nice relaxing weekend to rest. I had my mum, sister and brother over on Sunday night for a takeaway and gossip, which was lovely as always. Luckily i get on really well with my family and never seem to tire of their company so it's always a pleasure to spend time with them.
The rest of the week is going to be a busy one, i've got a fair bit going on, it's my Birthday on Saturday (24th) so should hoepfully be doing some nice things. I have a hospital appointment tomorrow morning too, i know it's about coeliac disease but not sure exactly what it will entail! At least i get a morning off work though which is always nice.
I'm snuggled up today wearing my Zara knitted turban, hope you like my outfit :)

The Monday Piece - Jeffrey Campbell foxy shoes

An exciting Monday Piece today as I get to show off my new Jeffrey Campbell Foxy American flag print shoes that arrived in the post today. I've always loved and coveted a real pair of JC's, and as its my birthday on Saturday I thought now is the time to treat myself. I have a 'faux' pair of Litas so wanted something different and that I've not seen many people wear, so I picked the Foxy American flag print pair. I am SO happy with them, the print is mega bright and pretty, they're comfy, light and easy to walk in, plus they make me look skinny and tall - winner.
I did consider a more 'classic' pair but that's a bit boring really, especially as I buy lots of classic timeless clothes so these silly ones should go with a fair bit of my wardrobe (that's the plan anyway!). I'll be wearing these little beasts in days to come and can't wait to show you what I'm going to wear them with :)
Are you a Jeffrey Campbell fan?

What I wore today - Zara pearl open stitch cardigan and snakeskin print trousers

Today I'm having a lazy day at home, I don't really show what I like to wear whilst chilling out at home so though id post this outfit so you can see. It's not very often I have a whole day to myself to do nothing, so I'm relishing the opportunity today. I went to the annual Beaujolais Noveau last night in Malvern with my mum and sister, we go every year as one of my mums French friends hosts the evening in her and her husbands beautiful apartment, the wine, food and conversation was so entertaining and ended up being a fantastic night, as always. I was meant to be going out with my Dad tomorrow night with my brother and sister to celebrate my birthday ahead of next weekend, but he's torn the ligaments in his foot and ankle whilst moving house so can no longer drive over from Stafford! So disappointed as I don't get to see him all that often so we'll have to rearrange.
Back to the outfit, it's a perfect lounging around outfit as these trousers are stretchy, the cardigan cosy and the boots are flat just incase I need to pop out to grab a few supplies. I've also got a few chores to do which is pretty unexciting, then tonight I'll be watching strictly come dancing in my pj's! Do you have any plans or anything exciting going on?

What I wore today - Primark star print jumper and wedge hi tops

That's right - bare legs, it looks like i have nothing underneath the jumper but i can assure you there are some tiny shorts. I've seen a few bloggers embracing bare legs and to be honest it's not THAT cold and it's mega comfy so...here's my outfit. I bought this star print jumper whilst i was in Southampton a few weeks ago, it's oversized, thick and black and white so loved it instantly - it can be worn with everything i own and was such a bargain, they also had a red version but it wasn't as nice as this one. I generally love anything star printed anyway so it's great to add this to my collection! Also loving my wedge trainers at the moment, i still want some plain black ones, i'll have to see what eBay have to offer i think. I'm off for lunch with my mum today during my lunch break, and hopefully heading out tonight too. I'm hoping to have a few things from the postman soon so should have some new stuff to show you! FYI the spending ban has been well and truly broken...
Have a great Friday and enjoy the weekend :)

What I wore today - Zara cape hoodie and neon beanie

A comfy, simple outfit for Wednesday, i always feel a little limp mid week so a simple outfit is necessary. I can also show off my new haircut - i was in a proper panic about having it cut as i'm quite protective over my hair, hairdressers have a habit of snipping off way too much but luckily the lovely girl who did my hair actually listened to me! So i've had a little off the ends and lots of layers put through, it was mostly all one length before as my layers had outgrown but it was way too 'puffy' and massive so was hard to style and maintain. It now feels in much better condition too so i'm glad i finally had it cut properly by the hairdresser. Can you tell it's been cut? I hope it still looks long!
You're probably a bit fed up of seeing my little neon beanie, it's so cosy and comfy and is a saviour for 'i can't be bothered to do my hair' days. I'm just at work today, i was invited to the Internacionale SS13 press day today in London but couldn't make it as the train was ridiculously expensive, I would've loved to have previewed the new collection but nevermind!
I bought this soft cape hoodie from Zara a few weeks ago, it's now sold out online but you may still be able to get it in store - i'm not really a hoodie kind of girl but this one is so soft and snug, and is 'smarter' than alot of other hoodies so i had to have it, it'll be great for layering too.
Also, on another note, the spending ban may have been broken...on something rather silly...more details to follow!

The Monday Piece - Internacionale

The Monday Piece this week is on fashion brand Internacionale. I was invited down to their Spring/Summer 2013 press day on Wednesday but unfortunately am not able to attend, so i decided to instead show you my favourite pieces from the current range. The brand have been around for a good few years and have over 140 stores across the UK as well as a fantastic website. They offer affordable, on trend clothing and footwear for women as well as having a teen/girl section - it's a store i've shopped in since i was about 10 and often visit it on my lunch break from work during the week. I find it's quite a similar brand to New Look though often better value, and you can always find something pretty and stylish in there - though occasionally you do have to hunt for it! I have picked a few of my favourite items for this season, this camo jacket is only £20.00, such a bargain - and the sequin leggings look amazing too! You can find there website here, i'm sure you'll find something you like :) Have a great Monday.

What I wore today - Zara leather lined top and primark corsage heels

I hope your all enjoying the weekend, im about to head off into town to get the guinea pig a few bits and maybe a coffee somewhere. I went to Cheltenham for the day yesterday which was lovely, it's got a great vibe there and the people and houses are lovely! I do love a but of people watching, I'm so nosy. There's loads of shops there too, everything from standard high street stores like Topshop and New Look to little boutiques selling designer clothes, shoes and bags - its a good job I'm skint as I could've easily spent hundreds there. I'll definitely be returning after I've been paid! I also had the nicest nando's ever on the way home in the car, and bought some gluten free Jelly Belly Beans, happy days.
I've got a new top on today (it was bought before the spending ban!), it's super soft and has a leather trim around the neck. I buy a lot of plain simple clothes in autumn as they're much easier to layer than printed things, unless it's a chunky printed jumper, which usually go with everything come winter. Have a great Sunday!
