TGI Friday's 100 Cocktails Artworks Launch - Birmingham

Last week we went to TGI Friday's in Birmingham to the 100 Cocktails Artworks Launch! I'd never been to TGI's before, but had heard so much about it, i loved the party atmosphere and the staff were friendly and welcoming. TGI Friday's are celebrating the brand new range of cocktails by showcasing 100 cocktails as 100 works of art. They had artists at the event who transformed three cocktails into artworks inspired by the colours, flavour and origins of the new menu. The Cherry Stag cocktail has Jim Bean black cherry infused bourbon, shaken with Luxardo Amaretto, cherry brandy and a dash of lemon juice - there's a picture below of the matching artwork, a big stag wearing a suit with cherry's hanging from his antlers! I also had a Popping Candy Margarita which was super sweet and tasty, the chaps who made the cocktails were awesome, and each one looked and tasted fantastic!

Alex Hughes is a local cartoonist, and was on hand to draw caricatures of everyone which was amazing and so funny! There was a little workshop set up where you could decorate your own TGI tote bags, and some of the girls assisted with making the cocktails too! The cocktails and mocktails were so yummy, as well as the nachos and potato skins - the whole evening was fab entertainment, i definitely recommend a trip to TGI's in Birmingham!
