What I Wore Today - Fluffy jumper

I almost forgot what it was like to wear something bright and colourful with all the neutral colours I've been wearing recently, so I thought it would be a good opportunity to pop on this fluffy red jumper! I've been doing some shopping over the last few weeks as it's a new year (any excuse), and am always keeping an eye out for new places to buy jeans. I found this black pair in H&M at an amazing £7.99 full price - I wanted some skinnies but not a super tight pair, these are thick and fit well so they're a bit of a bargain really :).

What I Wore Today - Studded Becksondergaard scarf

I hope you had a great weekend, we spent it shopping in Birmingham hunting for sales bargains, eating Nandos and relaxing which was lovely! I'm wrapping up in this studded Becksondergaard scarf, as always the new season collection looks so good - there are lots of bright new Becksondergaard styles available at The Dressing Room, as well as a selection of leather goodies too! I think they're really easy to wear and drape so well making them extra cosy. I hope you like my outfit :).

The Monday Piece - Spring Summer 2014 Fashion Trends from Monsoon

This week's Monday Piece is on Spring Summer 2014 trends from Monsoon. Monsoon and Accessorize are well known for their bold prints, textured pieced and pretty Summer designs - Spring Summer 2014 has so many amazing things coming to stores! The video below shows off the fantastic selection of new season pieces, i love the tribal prints and blue and orange colours, as well as the neutral, pastel colours too. The material looks so light and comfortable, with lots of oversized, floaty shapes it will be ideal for warm weather and relaxing on holiday somewhere exotic! Monsoon is also famous for detailed, embellished clothing - whether you're after a scarf, skirt or dress, there are beautifully embellished, textured and embroidered items suitable for everyone. I've got my eye on the elephant print dress, i'd style it with some chunky black sandals and sunglasses - the pink, blue and cream colours are so fresh and it just screams Summer to me!
As well as the clothing, the shoes and accessories by Accessorize are equally as eye catching - the glitter clutch bags and chunky necklaces and rings are just right for finishing off an outfit. The bridal collection is truly stunning, the dresses are super flattering, with body skimming designs in a variety of materials including lace and satin - as always the wedding dresses have a classic, romantic feel and look to them. The Spring Summer 2014 fashion trends from Monsoon are ideal for everyone, whether you decide to hit the beach, go camping or party at a festival there are so many treats to choose from!

Spring Hair and Beauty Ideas

I'm loving all the new season pastel colours that are popping up at the moment, especially light blues, pinks and purples. I don't wear too much make up as i like to keep it quite natural, so the nude Nars blush would be ideal for a natural glow. The kitty head band is so cute and would look great with a shimmery, pink lip. If you're after a new look for your hair, Paul's Hair World has a vast range of  highest quality Brazilian hair extensions as well as sleep in rollers, hair brushes and products. It's important not to forget the little things, hair extensions clips are essential for keeping everything in place! I've been looking for a new make up bag for ages and spotted this Marc Jacobs case online, the soft fabric and printed design is just the right shape and size for all of my make up essentials!

Online boutique Hengelo stock some amazing jewellery, including this black Tokyo Jane bracelet which i've worn with lots of dark grey colours and a big coat. I'm feeling so bedraggled from all the wind and rain, i can barely peel myself away from cosy roll neck jumpers! I'm after some new, plain white jeans, i might have a look at the white Joni jeans and see how they look, i'm a little concerned they might be see through though which is never good... You can check out the full range of Hengelo jewellery here.

Jasper Jewellery

I hope you had a great weekend. Jasper Jewellery are an online jewellery store specialising in Swarovski crystal pieces. Their jewellery is so unique and such great quality - i love this silver snake crystal bracelet, it comes in gold too which looks mega luxe, i chose the silver as i wear so much black and grey so thought it would add a little edginess to a look. With Valentines Day not so far away, some romantic folk might be thinking where they can get a beautiful present for a loved one, Jasper Jewellery have a huge range of fab gifts like this, as well as necklaces, rings and other pretty things for all budgets! They also offer free presentation and gift wrapping on all orders - it was so beautifully wrapped and even came with a little pack of love hearts which were so cute, until i ate them! Ha!

The Monday Piece - CJG Shearling Boots

This week's Monday Piece is on these Chloe Jade Green shearling boots. I was browsing the Selfridges sale online, saw these and instantly wanted them - i love biker boots as they're usually quite practical but they often end up being the wrong height or material. I like the slouchy look to these and the studded buckles, they can be worn fitted like i've worn them or loosened so the shearling folds over. I'd heard a bit about the brand before but never seen a pair in real life, so didn't really know what they'd be like when they arrived. I'm so pleased with them, the leather is super soft and the shimmery metallic finish isn't too bright or shiny, plus the shearling is cosy! I'll be wearing them with skinny black jeans and a biker jacket :).

TJ Hughes Healthy Eating

Continuing with the healthy lifestyle posts, today I'm featuring some cooking appliances from TJ Hughes. If you're a meat eater like me, George Foreman grills are ideal for healthy cooking - they're so easy to use too and are also suitable for griddling foods like vegetables and even bagels and sandwiches. Electric grills help to reduce the amount of fat when cooking and they wipe clean so there's minimal washing up and can be used to cook a whole variety of stuff. When eating well and staying active, I still like to make an effort so I've also included a fab printed crop top and some accessories to match - the pink kettle bell looks girly but is super effective for something so simple. I love the little note book and striped Victoria's Secret socks too!

What I Wore Today - Zara jacket

I hope you're having a good week. I've been feeling quite scruffy so i've smartened up a little with a fitted jacket and printed top. I've been loving all things jewellery and accessories recently, including handbags too. There's so many cool sites selling pretty jewellery in particular fresh trends body jewellery, I love the selection they have for all kinds of body jewellery and lots of it has crystals in! I'd love some more ear piercings at the tops of my ears maybe with some tiny hoops, I think i'd worry about getting my hair caught in them though! I hope you like my outfit :).

Zoggs Swimwear

Lots of people are kicking off this January with a health drive, aiming to get more motivated and fit. As well as going to the gym, swimming is another great way to stay in shape whilst having some fun. So here is a suitable outfit for popping down to the pool, including this Zoggs swimsuit available online - i love the high neck and high cut leg, it has such a cute sporty look! Zoggs have everything from swimming costumes to ear plugs to kit you out for a decent swimming session! I've also added some cosy basics to wear to and from the pool, as it's so cold cosy travel stuff is a necessity - a pair of free runs and duffle style bag make it extra sporty. Oh and of course we all need a pair of goggles to keep the mascara in tact :).

What I Wore Today - White jumper

I've had this jumper for a while and wear it quite a bit, it's really chunky and slouchy and definitely a comfort jumper! Its from Zara, a shop i still love but haven't bought much from recently - ive popped in a few times during the sales but its always so busy and manic so i usually end up leaving as I can't deal with searching through the piles of stuff. The website is still good though so I've been having a cheeky browse of that for some more chunky knitwear. This Bank Fashion jumpsuit worn underneath is another piece I love to wear, it's turned out to be quite versatile too which is always good. Yesterday we did a little shopping at The Bull Ring in Birmingham, and had a yummy Bubble Tea which I can't get enough of! I hope you like my outfit :).

What I Wore Today - Sperry boots

I hope you're having a good week! I love this fluffy jumper but the tiny hairs get everywhere and stick to everything which is a little annoying but it's just sooo cosy i want to wear it all the time! These wedge Sperry boots are really cute, i don't have many light suede shoes but these are super soft and thought it'd be good to give my feet a break from all the black. I've also been loving this classic Twist & Tango coat, their sale is incredible and so stylish, plus the prices are amazing, check it out here :).

The Monday Piece - Tamagotchi

This week's Monday Piece is on Tamagotchi! Tamagotchi's were huge in the 90's, so when i heard they were coming back with new technology and features i wanted one straight away! I popped into town last week on a mission to find one, and was so excited when i did. The new range comes in a  choice of colours and prints, i chose the pink heart leopard print because it's so girly and cute. The egg shape is definitely bigger than before, but still small enough to put in your pocket or handbag. There's no backlight so you need a fair amount of natural light to see it properly, however as it goes to sleep at night it's ok. I love it and am already a little bit addicted - you can do all the usual Tamagotchi things with it like give it food, clear up after it, and play games with it - you can also take it to the Tamagotchi park, go shopping for jewellery, and buy special meals and snacks with points earned. Also, the new range has 'bump' technology, meaning if you and a friend both have a Tamagotchi you can put them together so they become friends, earning extra points and prizes! You can even text message Tamagotchi to Tamagotchi which is crazy!
Would you buy a Tamagotchi?

Tamagotchi's are widely available on the UK high street.

What I Wore Today - Category Clothing bleached tee

I hope you're having a good week so far. I love the design and fit of this Category Clothing bleached tee, the colours are kind of pink and orange which i think works really well with the grey - i think Category Clothing are having a little break from making stuff at the moment, but hopefully they'll be back in the near future with more awesome tees and hoodies! I can barely take off these platform boots, i love the extra height they give and the grungy look of them, they come in a dark red colour too which i think would look amazing!

What I Wore Today - Sammydress black gilet

Happy New Year! I hope you had a wonderful time over the festive season. The weather has been truly awful the last few days with lots of wind and rain, so I've been wrapping up in cosy things and hiding away, I've also done a little sales shopping in Cheltenham and Birmngham! This fab black faux fur gilet from Sammydress is a great piece for layering, it's really chunky too and has a big hood! I've also worn my leopard print Keds which I loveeeee - I've got a few pairs and wear them so much, they're always comfy and a printed pair like this is great to add a little something to a plain look!
I hope you like my outfit :).
