iPANEMA Flip Flops

iPANEMA flip flops have been everywhere this Summer, they were one of the footbal world cup sponsors as the brand is Brazilian so have been spotted on lots of celebs too! iPANEMA celebrates the colourful, musical and exciting culture of Brazil, so you can expect various printed designs and patterns within the range. There are also other styles that are embroidered and beaded, and the beautiful Gisele Bundchen has collaborated with them too. Ideal for the sun, beach, pool and holidays iPANEMA flip flops are comfy to wear as they're quite spongy, and always look great - a little tip though, take a full size larger than you'd usually wear!

Abaday Cut Out Dress

This cut out dress from Abaday is a cutie! The hand grab feature around the middle is a fun detail, and the oversized t-shirt shape makes it comy too. The Abaday website is full of treats at such good prices, i'm impressed with the quality and the free shipping was super fast too. It's my ideal piece to throw on before heading out for a few drinks in the sun! I hope you like my outfit :).

Hairtrade

A little hair update as I've not done one for a while, featuring a favourite product of mine from Hairtrade, who's online shop is the ideal place to get all your hair essentials. From GHD tools, to hair extensions, and shampoo, the choice is enormous and they have products and accessories suitable for all hair types and styles! They also stock the big brands like Moroccan Oil, Redken and Paul Mitchell, if you're after something a bit more luxurious. I've been using this light spray oil by Wella Salon Professionals for a few months, and had recently ran out so rejoiced when Hairtrade offered to send me another bottle. I find thick oils weigh my hair down and make it quite greasy, so this is a great alternative - you spray the fine mist over your hair, smooth, and comb through and you're good to go. I find it makes my hair shiny, leaves it feeling softer, and makes it smell so good! Enriched with keratin, argan, jojoba and almond oil, the texture is really light, and leaves a non sticky, non greasy finish. Also a little goes a long way, and my previous bottle lasted a good few months, priced at £11.49 I think it's decent value for money, and can be used all year round! I've also been picking up cute scrunchies and bows recently from Claire's Accessories, just what I need to keep my hair out of my face when I'm having a lazy day!

The Monday Piece - Star Wars Vans

This week’s Monday Piece is on my new Star Wars Vans, I spotted them a while ago when they were first released and considered pre ordering them but held out and waited, then nabbed them online at Office last week as they went low stock so I panicked ha! Anyway, they’ve now been restocked in all sizes if you fancy a pair and think they’re as awesome as i do. Of course they’re not so fun to wear in, but a few blisters won’t put me off!

Simpson Shorts

These shorts are still some of my faves, despite them being a little cheeky! I wore them into town recently and had lots of lovely compliments so thought i'd wear them again as they're so much fun, was kind of tempted to go all out with the matching jumper but thought it might be a little too much! Though my love for Simpson merchandise is never ending, so i'm mega excited for the new MAC make up collection to launch - so if you see any other quirky Simpson clothing please give me a shout! This tee is a new piece, again from the Zara sale, and is slim fitting with a wrap front, i love my basics so was a no brainer really for only £7.99.

The Monday Piece - The City Rack

This week's Monday Piece is on The City Rack and this fab coral dress from their website! Orange hues are my new faves as it makes my skin look quite tan which is good! The City Rack stock a large range of dresses and other clothes, as well as shoes and accessories, all are quite glam and ideal for events or parties. This crepe dress feels really light and is made of a soft, stretchy fabric, with a cowl neck and asymmetric design i think it's got such a classy look to it. It also comes with a waist belt, though i've not worn it in the snaps, which has a shiny gold finish. I've popped on a biker jacket too!

Yep another Zara sale purchase in the form of this little wrap dress, now i am aware that it's quite short buuut it's Summer and i've been doing my squats so i think it's alright. It's slim fitting but stretchy, and i think it'd be cute dressed up with heels too, though i would add a pair of tight shorts underneath just in case! I hope you are enjoying the sweet weather, it feels like a massive treat to have such heat so i'll be making the most of it, i hope you like my outfit :).

H&M Silk Shorts

I hope you are having a good week so far! I've been fairly busy recently spending time in lots of different places enjoying the Summer! At the weekend G and I went camping in West Wales, just outside Aberystwyth, where we both went to uni - it was lots of fun and so so nice to be back in our old stomping ground. We saw a few friendly faces and took trips to our old favourite places, the weather wasn't too great but as we were at the seaside and having fun we didn't let it ruin our trip! I'm loving my comfy casuals at the moment like these silky shorts from H&M, the slides are also from H&M and are just so comfy! I hope you like my outfit :).

The Monday Piece - LOOK Magazine for Little Mistress

This weeks Monday Piece is on LOOK Magazine for Little Mistress! The brand have recently launched their full collection in collaboration with best selling UK fashion mag LOOK Magazine, that offers a selection of beautiful occasion dresses and jumpsuits. All pieces are so pretty and flattering, with a real feminine feel that are classics with a twist! This tomato red embroidered dress is my top choice from the collection, it also comes in a royal blue, as I love the sheer chest and sleeve detail and fitted shape. Now then, I have customised the dress slightly by wondawebbing the bottom to make it a bit shorter, because I'm petite it suits my style a little better - so normally the dress is a little longer than this! I would recommend going down a size as I find Little Mistress to come up quite big, I didn't however and it still fits well, I love the style and it really is ideal for a few parties I've got coming up!

Zara Blue Tee

This week has been mega busy and manic, so i'm back with a simple and easy everyday outfit! I've been buying from Zara again as the sale is awesome (as always), and picked up this light vest for only a few pounds. The royal blue colour is nice and colourful for the sunshine we've been having in The Midlands, i'm a little bit squinty eyed in these snaps as it's so bright ha! I've worn it with my go to jeans of the moment from iKrush, that are also in the sale - it's my favourite kind of lazy outfit for when i'm up and about running errands :).

The Monday Piece - Sonisphere 2014

This weeks Monday Piece is on Sonisphere! Me and G love a bit of heavy metal and rock music, and when we saw Metallica were headlining Sonisphere on the Sunday we had to get tickets to go. We just went for the day and hadn't been before, but we had the best day ever and all the bands were awesome. Our highlights were Airbourne, who were properly crazy and put on a class performance, Mastodon, and Metallica who's set was almost 3 hours long - they were ridiculously good and the crowd went nuts for them, plus they did an awesome encore and played a set requested by the audience so it was mega! I recommend a million times over seeing them if you ever get chance, and before they get too old ha! I didn't snap many pictures as I was having too much fun, but wore the standard shredded denim shorts, oversized tee and boots for festival wear. I'd love to know if you've been to any awesome festivals this Summer!

Front Row Shop Striped Trousers

These trousers from Front Row Shop remind me of Neopolitan ice cream! I don't usually opt for a tailored, flared cut so thought i'd give these a try. The nude colour is understated and quite 'classy' i think, so i've kept it simple with strappy heels and a t-shirt. The front panel is nude, the back panel black and then either side has a thick white stripe down each leg which elongates legs even as short as mine. Size wise i'd say Front Row Shop are similar to Zara, i got a Medium and they're just right! I've not seen a pair like this anywhere else but they remind me of Max Mara, which is always a good thing!
At the weekend i went out with my bestest cheerleading girls from uni, we had such an awesome time and it was just so exciting to all be reunited. We went out in Stoke which was actually lots of fun, i'd not been before but will definitely be going back as everyone was mega friendly and it was such a funny night! I hope you like my outfit :).

Protest Flip Flops

Protest sent me these fab coraly pink coloured flip flops, so i need to get myself to a beach ASAP to make the most of them! The rubber material is kind of weaved so feel a little odd at first but once you get used to it they feel awesome, and of course like most flip flops are so comfy. They're ideal for wearing with a bikini on holiday, or with shorts and a tee for a casual look! Also snapped my new bikini from Primark, for £7 it's a bargain and I love the cut out detail and thick strap bottoms :).
