The Monday Piece - Tatty Devine

This week's Monday Piece is on Tatty Devine who make THE coolest personalised jewellery! I recently attended the Bullring Bloggers event where we were kindly treated to some personalised pieces. The Heidi-likes blog necklace is so cute and something i'll keep forever, the tortoise shell design is made from plastic, like most of the jewellery, and has an awesome effect! It also comes with a little heart charm, and a silver chain with the Tatty Devine stamp. You can buy the jewellery in Selfridges Birmingham, where they have a boutique set up with the different designs, colours, fonts and charms to choose from - the choice is massive so it may take you a while to pick what you fancy, but they're all amazing and as it's personalised it'll be unique to you. If you're not local to Birmingham they also have a website where you can buy ready made pieces, as well as the name necklaces. The pink glittery Heidi necklace is my new favourite thing, again i opted for the silver chain, i love it!

48 Hours in Ibiza with Swimwear 365

Swimwear 365 stock a huge range of swimwear, clothing and accessories - so it's the ideal site for stocking up on Summer goodies if you're going away somewhere hot! Sadly, i have nothing booked, so am entering their insane competition where you can win a 48 hour trip to Ibiza, how exciting! I've never been to Ibiza, and would love to go over for some serious sunbathing, chilling and of course partying.

My 48 hour Ibiza itinerary is as follows; Jump off the plane with my number one girl, my sister, and head to the hotel where we can throw our bags down and get changed into some sassy bikinis and kimonos from Swimwear 365, spray some sun tan lotion on and head out for some sightseeing. We'd start by checking out the traditional town and some of the harbours and marinas, and then have a yummy fresh seafood lunch, finished with some ice cream and sorbet to cool off! After this we'd head to the beach for some swimming, tanning and snorkelling, before getting ready to party the night away drinking cocktails and dancing until sunrise. Day 2 we'd start with a huge breakfast, and lots of fresh water! Then we'd wake up by taking a beach yoga class, and having a fruit smoothie, before travelling to one of the small islands by boat to hopefully see some dolphins and wildlife! We'd also love to go pony trekking, go karting, and would finish off the trip with a few more cocktails and maybe a pool party before it's time to jet back.

I've selected below a few items that would be in my Ibiza suitcase, including a flattering wrap style bikini from 365 Swimwear that would look mega cute with sandals and sunglasses! For nights out i'd wear a simple, bodycon co-ord, and fringed party heels from Jeffrey Campbell. Sun cream, bright nail varnish and lip balm are my beauty essentials for a sunny trip to Ibiza, and the glow stick bracelets are too fun not to take!

Full details about how to enter the competition are here :).

The Monday Piece - Monki Tee

This week's Monday Piece is on this slogan tee from Monki! I've been browsing the shops online and instore recently, so thought i'd pop up an outfit to include some of my fave new season pieces. The tee is only £12 so a mega bargain, the Acne leather jacket is not so cheap but pound per wear and all that - plus i can never resist their classic style and shape, and i love the silver zips and hardware that would look ideal with the Proenza Schouler cross body bag! I'm all about timeless pieces like the Topshop Leigh jeans, they're easy to wear and great for all year round, and the Casadei heels are super sassy and simple. Some nude, neutral make up would finish off the outfit, the Charlotte Tilbury lipstick needs to be mine, along with sparkly nail varnish :).

Abaday White Skirt

I hope you are having a good week so far. The weekend was spent in Birmingham, doing some shopping, having lunch and generally mooching around, i'm so excited for all the new season bits popping up in the shops! This asymmetric skirt from Abaday is easy to dress up or down, I don't have many skirts at all so it makes a nice change from my usual shorts or jeans - it stretches a little and i'd say it was true to size, delivery was only about 10 days so would recommend the site! Also i've been featured in LOOK Magazine this week which is quite exciting so please pop me a tweet to @Heidi_likes to let me know what you think :).

The Monday Piece - Wagamama Birmingham

This week's Monday Piece is on Wagamama Birmingham! I was recently given some vouchers so I could go and try some of the gluten free menu. I don't usually eat Japanese food as its so hard trying to find gluten free options, but Wagamama has lots so it's great for coeliacs like me! Lots of the noodle dishes can be customised to be gluten free, as well as the salads and rice too. I chose a rice bowl with meat and miso soup - the waitress was so helpful and new exactly what to offer me, as she explained they have separate gluten free soy sauce and marinades. So I was confident that everything would be ok with my food! I was so peckish and was a happy bunny when the food arrived in about 15 minutes, not too bad at all, and it was really hot too. My rice dish was really tasty and had lots of prawns, chicken and veg, it also came with a separate sauce to pour over it, and the miso soup too. My guest had a chicken and rice dish also, but with a light oyster sauce - it smelt to good and was really light and fresh. I had a fab time at Wagamama, plus it's super easy to get to as its in the centre of Birmingham next to the Bull Ring - I'll definitely be returning for more gluten free goodness!

Blue Crochet Shorts

I love these bright blue crochet detail shorts, plus they match my new shoes so well! I've had a busy week and am feeling so unorganised with everything so am giving myself a kick up the butt to get stuff started again. So I'm back with an outfit post, pretty chilled really as just wearing shorts and a tee, but I do love simplicity so it's all good! At the weekend I went to a friends engagement party and celebrated with them, it was so lovely to see how happy they were, cuties! Plus I got to see my fave cheerleading babes from uni so much fun was had, dancing and drinking... I hope you like my outfit :).

The Monday Piece - Bullring Bloggers Event

This week's Monday Piece is on the amazing Bullring Bloggers Event i attended last week. The Bullring in Birmingham is one of my fave local shopping centres as they have the most awesome selection of shops, including big department stores, like Selfridges and Debenhams, that are a one stop shop for all your fashion and beauty needs! At the event we were treated to Nando's, drinks, blogger cakes and goodies, plus it was a great opportunity to chat with different brands like Karen Millen, Folli Follie, Umberto Giannini and lots of beauty brands too like Clarins, Shu Uemura and Urban Decay. There were lots of products to try and lots to learn, which is always good for someone like me who is a bit of a make up and skincare novice! It's always great seeing the local blogging girls, so i had a great night. We were treated to some fab gifts and samples to test out, so i'll be popping those up in a blog post soon :).
