This week's Monday Piece is on this fine knitted top I picked up in Zara recently. The red, navy, black and white stripes are colours I love, and the material is just so nice - I think it's more of a cross between a jumper and a top, the fine fabric is surprisingly warm too. I love Zara, and always check their website to see what new goodies they have arrive each week (especially the shoes), this top was a bargain at £12.99! They also have a new special range, which is all so well priced with wool blend coats available for £29.99 and jumpers for £7.99, so it's definitely worth a look. My butt looks fairly big in these photos which makes me cringe a little...the leather trousers make it look bigger I think!

Front Row Shop
Tartan time in this neoprene style dress from Front Row Shop. It reminds me of the dresses Australian people wear to school, like on Home and Away - i like the print though and the fabric feels great, the colours aren't too bright either which is good and a bit different from the usual red tartan print that is everywhere! I ordered a size up for a bigger fit, but i'd say it's true to size, it's stretchy too so i think it's designed to be worn tighter. Front Row Shop is full of fab printed stuff like this, plus quirky designs you wouldn't usually find on the high street. They also do some amazing simple pieces and their selection of coats is so good!
I hope you like my outfit :).

What I wore today - Mina printed top
I hope you're having a good week.
I've mentioned the Primark version of the Joni jeans before but not sure if i've pictured them, so here they are - they're fab for the price at only £10 but i don't think they're stretchy enough and are a little stiff - the sizing is a bit weird too, however for the price i can't complain and they can be worn with the majority of my wardrobe. ASOS and River Island have released their version of the denim 'tube pant' which i'm tempted to try as i keep hearing bad things about the Topshop Jonis breaking easily... Also can't get enough of blue at the moment, this little tunic/top/dress is from Mina who have just put everything in the 50% sale online! It's soft, stretchy fabric, and hangs off the body so well, the mesh panels jazz it up a little and it has pockets too - i've tucked mine in for a bit of asymmetric fun but it's definitely long enough to wear as a dress with some strappy sandals. Mina never fail to impress me with their quirky but feminine pieces, this dress is such a cute shape and the lime colour looks so fresh!

What I wore today - She likes ombre jumper
I hope you've had a good start to the week. I look so so pale in these snaps and i don't know why, i really don't think i'm this white in real life! I spent the weekend in Cardiff visiting people and the like, we were by the sea so i took my bikini hoping the sunny sun would come out, it did but it was still windy so was a little chilly - however, i love love loveeee the sea so braved it in my bikini and had a dip, fair play it was actually freezing cold in there and nobody else went in. Nevertheless it was fun and any excuse to wear my new bikini! Ha! Also went out for some yummy food (i had the ribs, they were gooood), then popped over to Cardiff Bay which has had a load of dollar spent on it and is pretty cool, lots of places to go, people to see and things to do...but the best part of the night was hunting down Stacey's house from the TV show Gavin and Stacey in Barry, it was too funny, i had my picture taken outside and everything - but we got caught by the owners of the house so ran to the car and sped away, practically criminals right?! Oops!
I hope you like my outfit :)

What I wore today - Bank striped pinafore dress
Ooh i feel all girly in todays outfit, a little striped pinafore from BANK fashion with a pink tie dye t-shirt underneath, but i like it! Although i wear a lot of black and white i do love colour
and a little bit of pink is always welcome in my monochrome wardrobe. I had quite a busy bank holiday, popped over to Birmingham on Saturday - didn't realise it was Gay Pride so the streets were heaving, but the carnival esque atmosphere was amazing and it was pretty cool to see people's outfits! Saturday evening i went to see my Mum and brother, Sunday went for coffee and enjoyed the sun, then yesterday went to Westfield Merry Hill where i found some amazing sandals in Primark - i'm fussy when it comes to footwear, they always have to be comfortable and have an element of practicality about them, i think sandals and flip flops are particularly hard to buy for as they can be made of weird materials and feet are odd things as it is so they've got to be 'right'! I had to go to the opticians again today, having problems with my contact lenses, I genuinely have the eyesight of a bat/mole/tiny eyed creature which is annoying!
Do you like pinafore dresses?
