What I Wore Today - Becksondergaard green scarf
What's this, not another high neck jumper?
Well yes, yes it is, at a tiny £7 from Primark i couldn't resist the slate grey colour and super soft feel - i'm already thinking about snapping up the cream version too. This green, printed Becksondergaard scarf is such great quality, the fabric is a 50% silk, 50% wool mix so it feels mega luxurious and falls around the neck so nicely - they're fab for layering and wrapping up in. They also have a chic selection of tees and other accessories including tote bags to match some of the scarves!
I hope you like my outfit :).

What I Wore Today - Leather sleeved jumper
I hope you're having a good week so far. It was my birthday at the weekend so i celebrated it spending time with family, it was brother's 21st too so it was nice to have a good get together! We did a little shopping in Bicester and Birmingham, as well as eating lots of yummy birthday food. I'm loving all things textured at the moment, this oversized leather sleeved jumper from DAP Boutique is snuggly and so cute. I love the slouchy feel of it, and it drapes off the shoulder too - i'll be dressing it up with some leather trousers and chunky heeled boots!
I hope you like my outfit :).

The Monday Piece - Zara fine knitted top
This week's Monday Piece is on this fine knitted top I picked up in Zara recently. The red, navy, black and white stripes are colours I love, and the material is just so nice - I think it's more of a cross between a jumper and a top, the fine fabric is surprisingly warm too. I love Zara, and always check their website to see what new goodies they have arrive each week (especially the shoes), this top was a bargain at £12.99! They also have a new special range, which is all so well priced with wool blend coats available for £29.99 and jumpers for £7.99, so it's definitely worth a look. My butt looks fairly big in these photos which makes me cringe a little...the leather trousers make it look bigger I think!

Westfield Merry Hill - Rylan and Union J interview
Last week I was invited over to my local shopping centre, Merry Hill, with fellow blogger Sara, for the Christmas lights switch on and the opportunity to meet and interview Rylan and the lads from Union J, both of who were on X Factor last year. Merry Hill looked amazing with lots of festive decorations, everyone was really excited too so the atmosphere was great! Interviewing Rylan and Union J was so funny - they were all friendly, chatty and cheeky too. We put a tweet out to see what questions we should ask as we were a little stuck and didn't know what people wanted to know, we had some great questions prepared!
First up was Rylan, he is SO tall and looked smart in a jacquard satin blazer, jeans, a shirt and an Hermes belt. He told us his favourite foods are McDonalds, pizza, soda stream cocktails and other junk food, and that at Christmas he'll be having a day off relaxing and spending time with family and friends. We asked him about fashion and where he likes to shop, the majority of his choices are high street like Topman and ASOS, as well as Vivienne Westwood and Christian Louboutin if he's treating himself! Rylan explained that he doesn't follow trends, and where's what he wants as long as it looks good in the mirror. His biggest fashion faux pas was the white light up jumpsuit he wore on X Factor! Rylan loves beauty products and getting pampered - Dermalogica skin care, and Mac and Benefit make up (he used to be a BeneBoy!) are his go to brands. He also told us he can't live without his spray tans - his teeth are truly incredible, so lots of flossing and cleaning is a must in his beauty regime! When relaxing, Rylan likes to wear a onesie, have a bath and get lots of sleep. It was great to hear that he keeps in touch with all of the X Factor contestants, and that he plans to keep presenting, singing and performing in the future!
Union J were equally as charming and lovely to chat to, they told us how they listen to Beyonce and The Script and watch Modern Family when relaxing away from their hectic schedule. They'll be chilling out with family and friends at Christmas time, touring and eating lots of food like pigs wrapped in blankets! The boys like to shop in Zara, Topman and Jeffrey Campbell, their designer faves are Vivienne Westwood, Alexander McQueen and Tom Ford. Union J like to look after themselves, and use nice smelling shower gels and collagen wave facials to keep their skin super soft and clean. They think fashion faux pas are bad hair, wearing onesies and wearing any clothes or socks in the bedroom...cheeky boys! Union J have lots going on and plans for the future include going on tour, exciting new projects and releasing more songs!
It was lots of fun interviewing all the boys, and such a pleasure to meet them, they all performed later on in the evening and switched on the pretty Christmas lights too!

DAP Boutique red cami dress
I love the festive feel of this
red cami slip dress from DAP Boutique, the lace panels at the sides and cross over straps at the back add a little sassiness without being too over the top. I've layered it with my trusty polo neck jumper, for a night out i'd whip off the jumper and add some strappy heels! DAP Boutique have so many pretty party dresses, there's lots of sequins and cut out styles which are just right for this time of year, and this one is only £20! I've had an annoying ear infection all week, so i'm not feeling too sharp - as well as having a bad jaw so my face has been really swollen, like a pufferfish, so i'm hoping to distract from that with a little red dress!
I hope you like my outfit :).

What I Wore Today - AngelEye London jacket
Little jackets like this make a nice change to the usual massive coat i wear when it gets cold, the faux fur collar keeps my neck warm and i love the knitted/tweed woolen fabric. I've worn it with some Hudson rose printed jeans and a black top and pointed shoes. I'm still trying to find some decent chunky black boots, sadly all the pairs i love are far too expensive or not very paractical! I went out last night with my Dad, brother and sister as it's mine and my brothers birthday's at the weekend - so it was lovely to have some family time and all catch up over some food and have a good chat.
I hope you like my outfit :).

The Monday Piece - Asos Navy Jumper
This week's Monday Piece is on this huge knitted jumper from ASOS. Winter is in full swing and the frosty mornings are back, so i'm trying to be a little more practical when buying things from the shops. With big bell bottom sleeves, a high neck and heavy knitted style this ASOS jumper is SO warm and cosy, it's that big that i can't even get a coat over it! It was £40 which is a little pricey, but i thought it was too snuggly to resit, it's a good Winter staple and can be thrown on with most things so i think it's justified! It comes in a blush pink too but i thought it would be nice to have some more navy. My leggings are also from ASOS and are like a velvet cord material, they're super soft and cosy too!
Have you bought anything from ASOS recently?

The Clothes Show Bloggers Breakfast
On Thursday I travelled down to London to attend The Clothes Show Bloggers Breakfast. Located in the Penthouse of The Sanderson, it was a great place to meet everyone, chat about the show and have some breakfast! The Clothes Show is celebrating its 25th Birthday, so there's a huge buzz this year and there's so much going on. The Clothes Show takes place each year, at the NEC in Birmingham, it's a massive event and accessible to everyone as anyone can buy tickets. This years dates are the 6th to the 10th of December.
There are catwalks showcasing high street and designer fashion, as well as collections from colleges and universities across the UK. The show also features special celebrity guests and performaces, a huge shopping area for both fashion and beauty, and educational programmes. The Clothes Show TV will be around too, offering exclusive behind the scenes action, style advice and make up and hair tutorials.
At the breakfast we met some awesome, inspirational people from the fashion world. Henry Holland will be at the show everyday presenting on the Alcatel One Touch fashion theatre, in association with Company Magazine. Henry was so charming and knowledgeable, he looked super sharp in a red fisherman knit jumper, striped blue shirt, jeans and brogues. It was great to hear what he thinks about the show and what to expect from the fashion theatre! Sasha Wilkins from the multi-award winning blog Liberty London Girl was on hand to give us all tips about the show, one of them being that wearing flats is a must due to lots of walking and dashing around! It was so inspiring chatting to Sasha, and her no nonsense approach to fashion and blogging was really refreshing. We also met Jade Thompson who is 'the face' of The Clothes Show 2013 - Jade won BINTM in 2011 and looked stunning wearing high waisted trousers, a cropped top and the cutest Pom Pom hat. Jade will be at the show too, modelling and looking beautiful!
We were kindly treated to an Alcatel One Touch star mobile phone, so I'll be using that at the show to tweet throughout the day, The Clothes Show is bigger than ever, and it all looks and sounds so exciting!

What I Wore Today - Fashion Union fur gilet
I hope you are having a good week! I've been after a faux fur shaggy gilet for ages, so was excited to slip this one on from Fashion Union. I love the grey and black print, and it's so easy to layer up and throw on with some leather leggings and Converse. Fluffy things are just so cosy, I might look for a big furry hat next...I've also been looking for some plain, lightweight knitted jumpers but couldn't find any as the high street is full of big bold prints, but H&M came up with the goods so i picked a few up last weekend for a very reasonable £10!
I hope you like my outfit :).

What I Wore Today - BANK Yeti Coat
Where does my hair end and the coat begin? I'm not too sure, but I do know i'm ready for Autumn in this incredible ombre yeti style coat from BANK! It is extremely fluffy and so warm and cosy! I wore it out shopping in Cheltenham yesterday too and had some lovely compliments from people, the butcher however said it was 'jazzy' and that it reminded him of Chewbacca out of Star Wars...and that it wouldn't be practical in the rain because I'd look like 'a drowned rat', well obviously he's never head of an umbrella! Silly man! I absolutely love it and can't get enough of it, when the wind blows it fluffs up everywhere too. I've worn it with some shiny trousers from Front Row Shop and cut out boots!
I hope you like my yeti coat :).
