What I Wore Today - Pointed Boots

I hope you had a wonderful weekend! I can't believe it's the end of April and i'm still wearing my cosy, warm coat - it's properly cold though and the weather forecast doesn't look to appealing, but at least i can prolong the wear of my favourite winter pieces! On Saturday me and G dogsat our friend's ginger labrador, he's called Jasper and is actually crazy and always excited - so we took him on an adventure to a big piece of common land in Malvern so he could run free and be at one with the sheep and wildlife, he seemed to enjoy it and covered himself in mud and dirt, naughty dog. Then on Sunday we took a shopping trip to Solihull where we picked up a few new season pieces, and of course finished off with a big, spicy Nando's! I hope you like my outfit :).

What I Wore Today - La Redoute biker jacket

I hope you are enjoying the bank holiday weekend so far! Today i'm wearing this light biker jacket from La Redoute, I've got my heavy biker jacket that I wear all the time, so this one is making a nice change and is more suited to Spring time - it's faux leather and has a perforated section, zips and poppers so has a good amount of detail. It's really comfy and the sizing is spot on (I ordered a 10), plus it's priced at only £45 which I think is really reasonable - also new customers can get £15 off orders with the code '4725' making it even more of a bargain! I've worn it with my Ridley jeans that have already become a favourite, and a loose fit tee, I hope you like my outfit :).

Mary and Milly PVC Midi Skirt

I hope you are having a good week so far. I'm brand new to midi styles as i wasn't too sure if they'd suit me or not, so i'm trying out this cream PVC midi skirt from ASOS Marketplace boutique Mary and Milly - it's slim fitting but has a split at the back so you don't have to walk like a penguin! Mary and Milly have a selection of pretty, feminine pieces and some stunning jewellery too - everything is really classic with a cute but unique feel to it. The new range features lots of colour and prints to get you in the mood for Spring. This skirt is only £17 so is a real bargain, and they currently have free shipping on all orders with the code 'FREE1'. I've worn it with some high strappy heels from New Look and ye olde faithful biker jacket. I hope you like my outfit!

The Monday Piece - Orange Check Dress

This week's Monday Piece is on this check print dress. I usually stick to black and neutral colours, so a fairly colourful printed dress like this is a bit different to my usual style. When Spring is on the horizon i tend to make a little more effort with colours, so i thought this dress was a good transition piece - it has a dip hem and is made from a light fabric, it's still cold so i've worn some skinny jeans underneath and layered my hooded, shaggy gilet. When it warms up i'll get my legs out and wear it with some chunky black sandals!

What I Wore Today - 6KS check dress

We're spending a few days in Cardiff so a little change of scenery for pictures today which is nice! This woolen dress from 6KS has a red, blue and green check print so is quite a bold choice for me as I don't often wear lots of colours on one print, though it means I can wear it with all black which makes me happy - I love the shape too as it has a little frilly bit at the bottom! I'm not sure if it's a top or a dress so I've worn some leather leggings underneath to keep my modesty as it's fairly short! I'm refusing to take off these cut out boots even though they're absolutely not suited to damp weather, especially as I'm prone to falling into muddy puddles...I hope you like my outfit :).

Choies Blue Dress

I love bright blue so this little dress is right up my street! Taking the pictures with a tummy full of food probably wasn't the best idea, I think some spanx would come in handy to smooth out any annoying lumps or bumps. It feels quite sassy really as the nude material is quite sheer, choosing the right kind of underwear is important as it can be visible, though it is fully lined. The lace details and cinched waistband make it quite dressy and great for a party. I've added some big blue heels to match! I'd recommend sizing up, I got a medium :).

What I Wore Today - Tartan jumper

The crazy windy, dark and miserable weather in the UK means cosy clothes and a lazy outfit! This tartan jumper is an absolute bargain from Choies, at only £15.11 - plus free shipping. The quality is so good for the price, it's extra thick and knitted inside too - it's labelled as one size so i didn't know how it would fit, but it's fairly loose which i like. My joni jeans get worn so much, they're starting to wear so i think it's time to start looking for something a bit thicker and longer lasting. I've been trying to avoid the amazing online and instore pre Christmas sales, the Selfridges 20% off deal was a little too tempting though so we popped over at the weekend to have a browse and maybe a naughty but tiny purchase!
I hope you like my outfit :).

Hedonia Penelope Dress

I hope you're having a good week so far! This Hedonia Penelope dress is so smart and classy, the fabric is quite thick with a structured feel, and there's a golden zip up the back too. I have quite a few black dresses, but the sweetheart shaped dark red top panel adds a little colour to this one to make it a bit more special and fancy! It's got a real cute but glamorous feel to it, i've layered a lightweight jumper underneath because it's getting chillier, and added some pointy heels too. Hedonia have lots of 'advent calendar treats' through December, so look out on their Twitter for great deals! I hope you like my outfit :).

Brag Vintage

Oversized band t-shirts are so easy to wear, this Slayer tee is from Brag Vintage, an online vintage store founded in Sheffield in 2011. Each item is hand picked and unique, all of which are good quality vintage pieces. Brag Vintage have a huge selection of denim, knitwear, tops, shoes and accessories. This t-shirt is a large and from the Men's section but i think it's unisex, and of course i usually gor for an oversized 'big' fit anyway, i'm really pleased with how it's turned out. I've got my eye on this wolf top, i think it'd look good with some skinny jeans, boots and a biker jacket! Brag Vintage have new stock landing every day, so it's always worth checking back!
I found these leather style leggings in H&M for £14.99, they're tight without being too restricting, and have a soft, fleecy inside so are extra comfy - they have a bit of a stretch too. I'd been searching for ages but couldn't find a decent fitting pair, so these are a bargain!
I hope you like my outfit :).

Pussycat London

Rainy pictures are a little annoying, but I wanted to show this pretty draped top from Pussycat London! It comes in a dress version too which is jus as nice, the top is made from a thick chiffon material and hangs just off the shoulders, i've dressed it up with some disco pants and asymmetric heels but it looks good with skinny jeans and boots too. Pussycat London have party dresses from only £9.99, and the 'New In' section is full of cosy knitwear! Plus you can get 30% off everything with the code BLOG30.
On Monday we travelled up to Liverpool to spend the night away, we had lots of yummy food and drink, and did some shopping and sightseeing. I'd not been since i was younger so it was good to go and explore it a little more, we loved it and will hopefully be returning soon - the people were so friendly and the docks area has been regenerated so it's just nice to walk around and have a nosey at everything!
I hope you like my outfit :).

Cheesy Festive Jumper

This jumper is pretty crazy and festive! I always enjoy novelty knitwear when the weather starts getting colder, i love wrapping up and keeping cosy. The jumper is from Cheesy Christmas Jumpers which is the most amazing place to get festive knitwear - all of their styles are unisex and the prints and designs are really bold and bright with a classic twist, some of them even light up! I chose the Winter Wonderland traditional knitted Fair Isle Christmas Jumper, it features prancing reindeers and snowflake, it's so thick and soft, and great to wear during the cold. They also have a new range of party shirts coming out soon which look lots of fun! You can shop the full collection here.
Do you like festive knitwear?

What I wore today - Snake print shirt

I hope you're having a good week so far. I accidentally posted this earlier without any words, oops. Anyway, how very snakealicious this shirt is! I do like a bit of animal print and the neutral colours of this shirt from Boutique Princess are good for wearing with some tight jeans, my go to trousers at the moment. Also wearing these amazing pointy toed flats from Choies, they're very Alexander Wang inspired and have a little silver buckle ankle strap and cut out details - they're real leather so i'm going to keep wearing them to give them more of a distressed look!
I have an exciting giveaway to win an exclusive Becksondergaard scarf, if you like you can enter here.
I hope you like my outfit :).

What I wore today - Little Mistress tomato dress

I hope you're enjoying the sun! I've had a fairly busy weekend - yesterday we went to a little farm park come cafe place called the Cob House just outside Worcester, where we fed the cute animals! Last night I popped over to Malvern to spend the night with my sister up town, bumped into some old friends that I've not seen for years so was nice to have a catch up. Though there was a stag party sat next to us who were kind if inappropriate offering us £100 to do a strip for the stag?! Awkward situation right there, I was wearing skinny jeans and a t-shirt with barely any make up so was like uhmmm do I look like a stripper?! Turns out they were all police men which makes it even more weird...! Today we've made the most of the sun and spent the afternoon at the outdoor pool swimming, sunbathing, and eating ice creams. This dress is from Little Mistress, and reminds me of a tomato, obviously because of the colour, I thought the frilly bottom and scalloped edges were cute, and it fits well too!
Have you been enjoying the sun? :)
