What I wore today - Little Mistress tomato dress

I hope you're enjoying the sun! I've had a fairly busy weekend - yesterday we went to a little farm park come cafe place called the Cob House just outside Worcester, where we fed the cute animals! Last night I popped over to Malvern to spend the night with my sister up town, bumped into some old friends that I've not seen for years so was nice to have a catch up. Though there was a stag party sat next to us who were kind if inappropriate offering us £100 to do a strip for the stag?! Awkward situation right there, I was wearing skinny jeans and a t-shirt with barely any make up so was like uhmmm do I look like a stripper?! Turns out they were all police men which makes it even more weird...! Today we've made the most of the sun and spent the afternoon at the outdoor pool swimming, sunbathing, and eating ice creams. This dress is from Little Mistress, and reminds me of a tomato, obviously because of the colour, I thought the frilly bottom and scalloped edges were cute, and it fits well too!
Have you been enjoying the sun? :)

Hidden Fashion slip dress

I'm a fan of the pyjama as outerwear 'trend', and it seems lightweight slip dresses are everywhere at the moment - so this is my take on this style of dress. I'd spyed a few in Topshop and Zara, but they were kind of pricey at around £40 - however Hidden Fashion are selling this dress for £9.99! The purple is a nice change and so easy to wear with black, i've worn it with a belt which you can't see as it's underneath the top layer to nip it in just a little and it was windy so i didn't fancy flashing everyone. It has a low back, slight dip hem and split at the bottom too, it's thick chiffon so not at all see through - it's such a fab little dress and something that can be dressed up or dressed down, i think it's great for all body types too as it's free flowing and not at all 'clingy'. I've added some boots and a fedora, and a pair of white legs that need a tan (optional).
Have a great Friday!

What I wore today - Mina printed top

I hope you're having a good week. I've mentioned the Primark version of the Joni jeans before but not sure if i've pictured them, so here they are - they're fab for the price at only £10 but i don't think they're stretchy enough and are a little stiff - the sizing is a bit weird too, however for the price i can't complain and they can be worn with the majority of my wardrobe. ASOS and River Island have released their version of the denim 'tube pant' which i'm tempted to try as i keep hearing bad things about the Topshop Jonis breaking easily... Also can't get enough of blue at the moment, this little tunic/top/dress is from Mina who have just put everything in the 50% sale online! It's soft, stretchy fabric, and hangs off the body so well, the mesh panels jazz it up a little and it has pockets too - i've tucked mine in for a bit of asymmetric fun but it's definitely long enough to wear as a dress with some strappy sandals. Mina never fail to impress me with their quirky but feminine pieces, this dress is such a cute shape and the lime colour looks so fresh!

The Monday Piece - Hidden Fashion

This week's Monday piece is on Hidden Fashion, a UK fashion website who sell a variety of things at affordable prices, such as these little dungarees! The fabric is similar to linen so they're really light and sit well, I've worn them down, not up, as I wanted to tuck a top in and turn them into shorts - worn with my trusty office boots and a primark waist belt to tie it together a bit more neatly. The dungarees are only £9.99, such a bargain! You can check the site out, here.
I hope you like how I've styled my dungarees!

What I wore today - Zara striped top

We went to Cheltenham today to do a little browsing and shopping and found this pretty little park in the centre to take some outfit pictures! Cheltenham is really lovely and has lots of little boutique shops, there's also a tonne of posh houses that you might be able to see in the background which i always enjoy having a nosy at. The weather has been rubbish all weeked but i always try to get out and about at the weekends regardless of the British weather! I wore a comfy casual outfit, I got this top from the Zara sale on Friday - I got the train to Birmingham after work so I could get some good bits before they sold out, the sizes are usually all over the place so I'd much rather try stuff on in the shop rather than shop online.
Yesterday we went to a farm park, in the rain...but we wrapped up in cosy clothes so it was fine, and the animals were so cute! Then popped into town for a few bits, and had a spicy nandos which was yum.
Hope you like my casual Sunday outfit :).

What I wore today - Missguided fedora

Ooh a new hat, this time a fedora from Missguided. I'd tried a few styles on whilst shoppping last week but i wasn't too sure and they were so heavy, i spotted this on Missguided for £15.00 so thought it was worth a try - i ordered it Sunday night with saver delivery at £1.95 and it came via courier on Tuesday morning! It fits quite well, though a little big (my head's quite small), but it's 100% wool and has a little bow around it so i'm quite impressed really. I do love hats, Topshop have the cutest little bowler hat with ears on i may have to treat myself to.
The majority of the high street sales have started, Zara, Topshop, Urban Outfitters - i'd love to know if you've snapped up a bargain?! I've been keeping an eye on the Fashion Perks website who have a whole plethora of discounts availabe for online shopaholics like myself, if i can get any kind of reduction or free delivery it's a bonus, plus they're currently running a blogger competition you can check out here.
I hope you like my new hat :).

What I wore today - MeeMee Oh My Love Dress

I hope you're having a good week so far! I had a pretty chilled out weekend which was nice, on Saturday i popped over to Birmingham to do a little shopping, Saturday evening had a takeaway which was yummy, then Sunday had a very lazy day! I've been waiting for the weather to be acceptable enough to wear this animal print dress from MeeMee, who stock lots of sassiness from brands like Oh My Love, Glamorous and Motel. They currently have an instagram competition running, all you need to do is tag yourself wearing any MeeMee product for a chance to win a 50% off voucher, happy days. This dress is from Oh My Love London, it's chiffon fabric (it has an underskirt too just in case), and has little cut out triangles around the waist, the multi colour snakeskin is such an unusal print! It's a great dress and such an easy thing to wear, i've just added my Primark strappy sandals and a dainty necklace :).
How do you wear animal print?

The Monday Piece - Little white dress

This week's Monday Piece is on the little white dress - i do love a classic LBD but i think the LWD is just as classic and classy! This one is from Hedonia, one of my favourite boutiques, who make the most stunning dresses and this one is no exception. I've dressed it down with my Office nighthawk boots, a studded belt and my floral crown, the dress also looks and feels fab with some strappy heeled shoes and a clutch for a night out. It's not all white, as it has a little black on the capped sleeves, and a panelled effect down the sides, so from the front and back it creates the illusion of a narrower frame - hooray! The fabric is thick so it's not at all see through, and has a little stretch to it too - though it isn't designed to be fitted, so if you are after a super sassy tight white dress then this is gorgeous too!
How do you style your white dress?

Karma Clothing lookbook

I hope you're enjoying the weekend! These are a few images for the Karma Clothing lookbook for their website, I was given the 'crazy prints' category to style so i chose these black and white striped leggings and printed mesh top. I'm pleased with how the look turned out, I love the detailing on the top and it's kind of a varsity style too which I'm very familiar with! I think both pieces can be worn with other things too, I'll be wearing the leggings with an oversized black top and some chunky sandals. You can see the full crazy prints range, here. I wore the sweetest little Barbie print dress from the Karma website a few months ago, here, that's also available in the range - I used to stick to such plain clothes but pieces like these have definitely converted me to the printed side of fashion!
I hope you like how I've styled the range :).

What I wore today - Tie dye kimono

Woo colour! Go me! A great unpractical outfit for a Friday! Having missed out on this kimono from last years Zara stock, i rejoiced when i found it on eBay. If you're willing to wait a few weeks for it to arrive from Hong Kong you can buy it for a teeny tiny £9 with free delivery, available here. However i wanted mine straight away as i'm impatient, so paid £22 including postage from a UK seller here. It's odd sizing, so i ordered a large which is a 10 apparently...bizarre. Anywhoo, i'm very pleased with it, it's exactly the same as the one from Zara and is quite versatile - it can be worn as a kimono, a maxi dress, a cardigan, on the beach...so hopefully i'll get my money's worth out of it!
Lots of Summer sales have started, i popped over to Selfridges yesterday and there are bargains to be had - Alexander Wang, Jimmy Choo, Christian Louboutin amongst loads others all at 50% plus off. It's definitely worth a look if you fancy treating yourself :)
What do you think of the kimono, do i look like a wally?

BassBuds BassBoomz speaker review

I was recently sent this little speaker to review, it's from a brand called BassBuds who make earphones that offer crystal clear sound, and now speakers too. I've not got anything like this so was eager to try it out!
BassBoomz wanted to create the smooth, clear sound you experience through earphones, but in a mobile speaker. The speaker connects to your device via Bluetooth, and is rechargeable so no need to worry about buying batteries. It's universal so as long as you're phone/laptop/tablet has Bluetooth then you can make the most of portable and fantastic sounding music. I've been taking mine everywhere, as it's such a light, handy size and compresses into a little pod, it fits easily in my handbag so is ultra portable and practical. I've tested it in lots of environments; the office, the garden, and in town too - every time the sound has been such great quality and the battery life is long lasting too with up to 6 hours playback, its small in size but BIG in sound.
If your device doesn't have Bluetooth it's no big deal as BassBuds BassBoomz also comes with a lead that pops into the jack of your device so music can be played through the speaker that way too, this too offers quality sound. It was super easy to set up too; charge it up, switch it on, search the speaker on your Bluetooth device, connect and off you go - simple.
I give this a big thumbs up, I'm loving my boomz and have been recommending it to family and colleagues, it's such a fab little gadget that creates the ultimate social experience!
They retail at £79.95 but are currently available at £49.95 on the online site, here. They come in eight different colours and have a pearly smooth finish, practical and pretty!
Have you tried a BassBoomz speaker before?
