The Monday Piece - Shea Moisture Hair Review

This week's Monday Piece is on Shea Moisture Hair review! I've been trying out the Fruit Fusion range with coconut water for my hair from Shea Moisture, i'd heard lots of good things about this brand, and love that their products are sulphate free and colour safe as i always want to protect my hair and try my best to keep it free from nasty silicones and additives that are unnatural.

I absolutely love the range of Shea Products, both the Fruit Fusion shampoo and conditioner are certified organic and are stuffed full of goodness and natural ingredients. The shampoo is super lightweight and leaves hair fuller and soft, without weighing it down. The Shea Butter and coconut water blend with a fusion of dragon fruit, lychee berry and green apple extracts nourishes and energises lifeless hair plus it smells divine and after using it regularly my hair looks healthier and shinier too - i like to wash my hair with the shampoo twice for an ultra clean and fresh feel.

The conditioner is just as fab, the vitamin-rich imbe oil blocks humidity to help control frizz, while aloe adds weightless shine, leaving your hair touchably soft and shiny - the light formula is ideal for my long hair that is often prone to flyaways, it tames my mane but also adds volume and bounce - i leave this on for as long as possible to give my hair that extra quench of moisture. I've also been using the texture spray which is great for no wash hair days (i have lots of these) as it adds a dose of goodness, body and definition - it's a spritz of amazingness for all hair types so i thoroughly recommend giving it a try.

Shea Moisture products are available online as well as in Boots, they're currently on 3 for 2 so snap them up whilst on offer and grab a bargain! If you're looking for pure, organic products, that smell incredible and really work on your hair then give them a go!

Hong Kong Snapshot

A little update of where i've been for the past week - last weekend Nick and I jetted off for a week of fun in Hong Kong! I'm pretty jet lagged and a little bleary eyed after getting back late last night after a super long flight, but wanted to get a preview up of what we've been up to, so thought the amazing Hong Kong skyline view from Victoria Peak would be ideal! We've had a really busy week and have crammed in so much, so keep an eye out for the full blog post coming soon!

The Monday Piece - Thorpe Park Fright Night 2016 with 365 Tickets

This week's Monday Piece is on Thorpe Park Fright Night 2016 with 365 tickets! A couple of weeks ago Nick and I headed off to Thorpe Park for a fun Saturday out courtesy of 365 tickets where we were ready to experience the Fright Night scare fest for this years Halloween! I'd not been to Thorpe Park before so didn't really know what to expect, it's pretty much in london so is easily accessible and straight forward to get to - we arrived and were mega excited to hop on the rollercoaster during the afternoon before it got dark and the Fright Night began. We went on Nemesis Inferno, Swarm, Stealth and the Rapids too - as with all theme parks the que situation was pretty busy but it was a Saturday so definitely wear your comfy stuff and shoes to be prepared for hanging around!

As soon as darkness came so did the Fright Night extravaganza, there were people spread across the park dressed to scare and in the 'contagion' area you could experience up close scariness with actors running around you, jumping out from hidden places and being generally freaky! The Fright Night includes mazes and rides designed to give you those Halloween chills, including themes from The Blair Witch project and the Derren Brown ghost train that was by far the most popular attraction there - everything at Thorpe Park is really close together which is ideal as it means you don't have to walk for miles and it's easy to get around the park, definitely get there as early as you can if you want to do all of the rides and I'd recommend getting in line for the ghost train experience first if you can as it's mega popular!

If you're looking for a Fright Night evening full of scariness and freakish fun then definitely head to Thorpe Park and get involved!

The Monday Piece - Lord & Berry Eye Shadow Review

This week's Monday Piece is on Lord & Berry eye shadow review! As you may know if you've been reading my blog a little while, i'm all about muted and toned down make up - my eyebrows can be quite extravagant so i like to keep everything else pretty simple with neutral colours, so these nude and subtle colours by Lord & Berry are right up my street! Available in a range of 100 shades, the SETA eye shadow is Lord & Berry's classic, staple eye shadow - it's so versatile and the huge choice means there are colours for everybody and all skin tones too. I love these little pots of joy as they have a screw on lid, and fit neatly in my make up pouch, i love the sleek packaging and the monochrome style is so sleek and stylish, plus the formula is awesome and so easy to apply!

These shadows are great if you just want a simple, sheer light dusting of colour across your lids if you want to create an understated look, but you can also build the colour up really easily to create a deep, intense smoky eye and dramatic look. I've been using the silky smooth eye shadows and love how lightweight they are, plus they are super long lasting with crease free effects - the Ranja colour is great for everyday as it's a muted brown colour and looks so chic, and the stunning mega pigmented glittery Oasis green is fab for evening and party looks! Navy colours are always a great addition to your make up kit as the colour is so classic and looks ultra sultry. All of the colours are blendable and can be added to one another so creating an epic eye make up look has never been easier!

The Lord & Berry online store is full of so much pretty make up featuring all of their classic bits as well as new collections, i'm eyeing up their liglosses and liners so definitely take a peek at those too!

The Monday Piece - Fun and Cosy Autumn Want List

This week's Monday Piece is on fun and cosy autumn want list! A quick update of internet buys i've been spying lately! Layering up in cosy pieces and fun accessories makes the colder weather that bit bearable, and i love adding a bit texture to my looks with something shiny and fluffy. These PVC trousers are amazing and look super shiny and sassy, i've teamed them with an oversized jumper and some fluffy sandals, also the full length gilet would add an extra smartness to the look! I've got my eye on cosy hats too and love the Eugenia Kim cable knit wool beanie, the pom pom definitely has the cute factor and is great for chilly walks in the countryside or grabbing brunch in the cuty!

Ripped Jumper Dress

I love a bit of sassy shredded knitwear, this piece is very 'Yeezy-ish' but it was such a bargain and is ridiculously comfy and cosy! Oversized knitwear is so easy to wear too, i've paired mine with my luscious velvet OTK booties for a bit of extra texture and style. I don't often wear this 'camel' colour, but it's definitely growing on me and is a colour we can't really escape as it's all over the high street at the moment, it's nice to break up my mega black looks though! It's another awesome piece from Rosegal.com and is only £12.50 so mega cheap and the quality SO good - i wore this look recently for shopping and lunching and popped a snap on my instagram so check out my page for what i'm up to and wearing!

This weekend Nick and i went to Thorpe Park for their Fright Night experience, 365 Tickets hooked us up with some tickets and we loved it! It gets quite busy so make sure you head there early if you want to make the most of the day and get to experience of all the fun rides - there's lots of spookiness around the park and tonnes to see and do so definitely check it out this Halloween! They also have new rides like the Derren Brown Ghost Train plus Containment and rides in the dark!

The Monday Piece - RoseGal Online Store

This week's Monday Piece is on RoseGal online store! I've managed to escape off the shoulder tops all Spring and Summer but when this slouchy knitted style came available i knew i had to give the style a go - and i'm so pleased i did as i love it and have been wearing it non stop! It's so soft and has a slight asymmetric style to it, it fits so well too, as it's one size i was unsure how it'd look but it's great and mega comfortable. I wore this outfit last weekend for an afternoon out and a country pub lunch, although the jumper is cropped it's still so cosy but can be layered up too with a cami underneath for more chilly days! RoseGal have an online shop full of bargains and amazing finds, this jumper is only £12.00 with free worldwide shipping, so take a look and snap up some bits, their knitwear is so good!
