The Monday Piece - Transformulas Hydration Gold Review

This week's Monday Piece is on Transformulas Hydration Gold Review! It's no secret that i'm a massive Transformulas fan and love their Marine Miracle Cream so I couldn't wait to give their Hydration Gold a try. The Transformulas motto is 'Beauty without surgery', they pack their beauty products full of the latest ingredients designed to give the best possible results with anti-ageing technology. The pump bottle dispenses the small amount needed, i've been using it as a normal moisturiser and apply it using my fingertips and upward motions - it creates a beautiful sheer veil with tiny gold flecks that reflect the light instantly brightening and tightening my face.

The 23 carat pure gold combined with Hyaluronic acid brings the anti ageing benefits to the forefront. The benefits of the 23 carat gold powder allows optimising visual effects that Hyaluronic Acid hydration brings to the skin, creating a sheer veil of radiance that can be lost with age, stress and general build up on the skin. Hyaluronic Acid prevents the access of toxic substances giving the skin a turgid and well hydrated appearance, with the passing years the concentration of Hyaluronic acid contained in the dermis has the tendency to reduce resulting in a lacklustre, less tight, dull complexion.

This cosmetic treatment with Hyaluronic acid resolves aesthetical problems of skin ageing thanks to its hydrating, softening, protective and regenerative properties - it leaves my skin feeling tight, but incredibly light and soft, with a glowing look to it too. It's ideal under my make up as a base as my make up applies so much easier and smoother, it can be used as a gentle highlighter too so I am absolutely loving it due to the amazing results! Have you tried Transformulas?

Zara Flared Sleeved Shirt

I'd been spying on this shirt for months and then it went into sale so of course I had to snap it up...BUT then I took it to the till and it came up for an even cheaper £5.99! Hooray! I love a bargain, and the flared oversized sleeves are just my style - I've kept it super simple with some black skinny jeans and my teeny tiny Louis V bag. I wore this out at the weekend to pop to Hereford for a little bit of shopping and pizza, it was mega chilly though so threw my classic leather jacket on over the top. I love a bargain and always keep an eye out for online sales and offers, especially on items I've been coveting for a while! In my quest to find  stylish, affordable and slightly 'different' clothing compared to my usual high street stores, I've been checking out http://www.simons.ca/ for fresh new pieces, especially their knitwear which looks so sleek! They have a super cool boho vibe about them too which I adore, plus the styles are ideal for transitioning into next season - I love browsing overseas online shops as they often offer something a little more alternative to what we're used to here in the UK, please do let me know if you can recommend any other awesome websites :).

The Monday Piece - Puffer Jacket Lust List

This week's Monday Piece is on puffer jacket lust list! A short and sweet post today featuring a few things i can't help myself lust after. I love cosy coats so I can't get enough of these puffy fun jackets, the champagne coloured satin Topshop style is fab and is such a cute design that can be worn with pretty much anything - I want one for weekends to wear with some classic Converse and black skinny jeans. Also loving this Miss Selfridge coat with the faux fur trim meaning extra warmth and snugness, i still have a soft spot for shiny sassy bomber jackets too - the black Vetements style is mega pricey but i love it! Of course i'm totally obsessed with star print lately as you will probably have guessed, so the Stella McCartney bag has to be mine...and the River Island star print jeans are my ideal trousers, they would look unreal with some unnecessary but incredible thigh high patent boots!

New Look Embroidered Jeans

It's ice cold so I'm wrapping up in this shaggy faux fur coat that I've had forever! I picked up these embroidered jeans from New Look and love the style, I've not had jeans from there before but they fit great and are very purse friendly which is always a bonus. The embroidery detail is just underneath the pockets in a pastel pink and green, I thought they'd transition well into Spring as well as looking pretty with chunky jumpers and boots. I'm also wearing my new star print boots that I previewed during the week, they are super comfy as well as being the hottest boots around!

The Monday Piece - Kurt Geiger Simona Star Print Boots

This week's Monday Piece is on these Kurt Geiger Simona star print boots! I'm unwell at the moment with a horrid kidney infection and had been cooped up for a few days so was ready to venture out and get some fresh air at the weekend - my gorgeous ginger munchkin Hayley invited me out for some food and a bit of shopping so I met her in Birmingham on Saturday for some girl time. I was still unwell but she looked after me and fed me, so big thanks to her for being a darling, plus she has an awesome blog so check it out! It is no secret that I love anything star print, and have been looking for some star print boots for ages so when I saw a well dressed girl in Selfridges wearing these exact boots I had to stop her and ask her where she bought them from - I was shocked when she said Kurt Geiger as they looks ultra chic and expensive! So we trotted off to Kurt Geiger in the Bull Ring to find them...and I was the happiest girl when they were there waiting for me, in my size, in the sale - yay! I adore them and the mid heel means I can wear them all day long with no sore feet, the studs are a little grunge and I love the chunky silver buckles. I put a picture on my Instagram and they've got lots of love so if you fancy yourself a pair then click here to be taken to them!

Smart Winter Staples

A few smart Winter pieces are pretty essential, I keep mine simple but classic as they can last if you invest wisely meaning they can be reworn each Winter. I picked up this simple tailored coat in All Saints in 2015 and still get so excited to wear it when it gets colder, the shape is so flattering and as it's easy to wear I can pair it with pretty much anything and it looks great - I got mine from an outlet so had a bit of a bargain, I think they are usually priced at around £300-£400 so always check their sales and outlet stores if you fancy one for yourself, but I totally think they are worth the investment! These Dune boots I also bought in 2015 and was a little worried how they'd 'wear' over time as they're black suede, which can often look a bit scruffy after a while, but they are still going strong and after having them re-heeled they feel great too. Woolen jumpers are my saviour during Winter, I am always cold and love being toasty and warm, so I need the cosiest, softest fabrics to stop me from turning into a human icicle - I bought this one from All Saints and adore the grey colour and chic V-neck, I also have others from stores like Zara and ASOS as I need a decent supply to see me through! What pieces do you look forward to wearing in Winter?

The Monday Piece - Missguided Band T-Shirt

This week's Monday Piece is on this Missguided band t-shirt! Anything grunge or rock inspired is just my style, I love black and anything with a bit of an edge so this Missguided tee caught my eye and I clicked to buy as soon as I spotted it. The lace up front and slightly oversized fit is ideal to wear with my leather trousers, plus I love the extra colour and skull print, it was such a bargain too at £18.00. I never really used to shop at Missguided but lately I've been loving their collections and find myself drawn to their site and often buying a few things, it's so well priced and I love their vibe. I'm also still loving this cute little monster bag i picked up in Hong Kong, i paired it with the fluffiest baby pink bag charm too just to make it extra silly, because why not. Last week was mega busy so this weekend we totally relaxed, we headed out for coffee and supplies, then went over to Ledbury to see Nick's family for a steak dinner which was so tasty, we've been here there and everywhere lately so having a chilled one was much needed!

New Year New Boots

I'm not really one for new year's resolutions, but I am definitely one for new boots and bringing in the new year with a few materialistic treats...because why not! So of course I've been mooching around and plucking the latest statement shoes and boots out of my favourite online stores - plus there are tonnes of sales on meaning there are bargains to be snapped up making that retail therapy even sweeter. I am still loving velvet styles, my go to store for velvet is always Public Desire as they have a fab choice of colours and styles from burgundy lace up ankle boots to black over the knee booties like this pair i featured recently. I'm also a bit of a sucker for cowboy boots, this pair by Chiara Ferragni are totally nuts and a mega statement, but I love them and think they'd look totally rocking with black skinny jeans and a white shirt - I neeeeed them! The classic ankle boots available everywhere from Topshop to Brantano are my go to shoes for winter, they can be worn with everything and are timeless from season to season - I like a heel as i'm so short and can always do with lengthening my stubby legs, the suede stiletto sock boots look ultra chic and can be worn day to night, it's love! The Louis Vuitton cleated sole beasts are a little out of my price range but I still can't help but covet them, the silver leather and airtex style is pretty sporty but they're fun too and are just oh so sassy! What shoes are you lusting after?

The Monday Piece - Umberto Giannini Indulge Collection

This week's Monday Piece is on Umberto Giannini Indulge collection! It's no secret that I love to try out new products on my hair, especially at this time of year when it gets effected by the freezing air outside, plus the harsh heating inside - it gets super dry, more brittle and tangles easily too. Plus as it's quite long I like to keep it as sleek and simple as possible otherwise it just goes crazy! So the Indulge range sounds ideal for my type of hair which is long, coloured, prone to break easily and in need of some TLC. The Indulge range by Umberto Giannini is designed to give your hair a salon finish with their special salon formula, with extra moisturising ingredients and indulgent cleaning action, hair is left soft, sleek, supple and easy to style with less flyaways. I absolutely love the packaging, the white bottles and rose gold labelling looks so chic and tactile, the bottles look great in the bathroom and feel great too which is always important when reaching out for the product in the shower!

I've been using the products for a few weeks and have noticed definite improvements in my hair and it's softness and manageability - The Indulge Wash is a sensory indulgent cleansing shampoo that moisturises, I only wash my hair once every few days and this left it feeling fresh and light. Paired with the Indulge Care conditioner, which is a thick and luxurious conditioner that nourishes and repairs heat damaged and frizzy hair, they are an ideal combination and work so well together. I love how soft and light they made my hair feel! On days when my hair needs something 'extra' the Over Indulge nourishing hair mask is my saviour - an intensive 3 minute moisture boost which includes a shower cap too so all of the moisture is all wrapped up and contained, it leaves my hair amazingly silky and pampered. After the cleansing stage i'm all ready to style my hair, sometimes I leave it to dry naturally so I've been spritzing the Pick Me Up moisturising nutrient spray to help detangle and smooth my hair when damp, this is also great to use before blow drying as it helps set the style and give an ultra shiny finish, PLUS I also use it in between washes to give it a freshen up and moisture boost as it contains coconut oil and jojoba! I am a total sucker for a hair oil and the Spoil Me oil did not disappoint - you only need a few drops of this magic oil to protect against heat, nourish, smooth, add shine and give you back control of your locks thanks to the argan oil properties, it absorbs super quick and leaves you hair looking sleek and sultry - I love it!

All of the products work so well together and have left my hair so much more manageable and easy to style. The range all smells the same too, so you'll be left with great smelling and looking hair, available on the Umberto Giannini website and in shops like Boots, the range is readily available and ideal for this time of year when our hair, faces and bodies have been over indulging - it's definitely time to treat your hair!
