The Monday Piece - Bravesoul at The Hut

I hope you've had a lovely weekend. This week's Monday Piece is on Bravesoul at The Hut, this little t-shirt is just so cute! It has little elephants, bicycles, butterflys and cats all over it - it's such a fun print, especially for Spring. It has little ties at the bottom but i tucked them under instead. The Hut has such a wide range of things available; electricals, gifts, hair and beauty, and of course lots of clothes, shoes and bags - all are branded products that aren't widely available on the high street, such as Brit Stitch bags that i am constantly cooing over, so pretty! It's definitely worth a look as they also have exclusive discounts which are always welcome to shopaholics like myself. This t-shirt isn't available to buy just yet, but will be very soon so keep a look out, in the mean time you can see the rest of the Bravesoul collection here.
Are you a fan of printed t-shirts?

What I wore today - Choies Bart Simpson shorts

The cartoon obsession continues with these incredible shorts from Choies! I love my Bart Simpson jumper (post here) so very much, so of course i've taken it one step further...I  absolutely love them, so kitsch and quirky, they make a nice change to plain shorts too! I almost wore the two together but thought it might be a bit over the top, ha! Also they are a right bargain at around £15.00 available here. Yesterday I went to Bicester Village in Oxfordshire, one of my favourite shopping places ever, they have such an amazing selection of shops and the staff are lovely and friendly so I recommend it, i'll show you what I bought soon. Sometimes it's important to treat yourself, next on my wishlist are some pretty diamond earrings or something similar...anything sparkly and i'm instantly attracted to it!
Have a great Sunday, do let me know if you like the shorts :)

Ps. it's definitely not warm enough for shorts yet.

What I wore today - Prodigy Red neon jumper

This jumper is so much brighter in real life, like SO bright, but i love neon and pink so it's all good in the hood, plus it's a tiny £6.99 - what a bargain! Lots of people are having lovely sun but it's kind of hit and miss over here in Worcestershire, we've even had a sprinkle of rain - boo! Keeping it simple with this outfit, nice and casual for a Friday anyway. So this is what my new cut out boots look like on - the sun was shining when i took these pictures, so i was all squinty eyed and it also made my boots look crazy white! I'm slowly breaking my wardobe into Summer, bits of neon, white and other colour here and there.
Hope you like the pink :)

Birmingham Blogger Meet

On Saturday I attended the Birmingham Blogger Meet, it was so much fun and great to see the lovely blogging girls. We met in Starbucks where we chatted and had a catch up, then went to Selfridges for a little tour of the shop, where we found out about some of the brands and admired all of the amazing visual merchandising - Selfridges is my favourite place for all things luxurious, amazing handbags and shoes, it always encourages me to save up for things i've always wanted like exclusive designer pieces and other pretty things, a girl can dream anyway! Believe it or not Selfridges even has a Primark concession, they have the best bits and exclusives so it's worth having a look.

After this we did a bit of shopping, i picked up a few bits that i'll be wearing soon, had some food, then we all met at Bar Room Bar for drinks. I had the pleasure of sitting next to some gorgeous blogging buddies; Carmen (who i know you will just love!), Cheeky Charl (such a little minx), and the beautiful Sophie who has a funny vlog from the day on her blog! I loveee these girlies and was awesome sharing the day with them.
We were given talks from Benefit, John Lewis and Bodhi, which was fab! We were then spoiled with goodie bags full of treats from Macademia, Granny Sally's, Benefit, Liz Earle, Kukee and lots more - thank you very much to the brands and lovely ladies who organised the day - Sara, Chloe and Hayley! It was a great day and i can't wait to see the girlies again!

What I wore today - Delicious couture and Shusole boots

I hope you've had a good start to the week, the weather's a little brighter but i'm still quite cold and feeling a little groggy so keeping wrapped up in my furry scarf for now. I'm wearing this pretty Delicious Couture long sleeved tee from Room31, it's a peachy pink colour with rose gold metallic writing on the front, and says 'I belive in fairytales'. I've worn it with some disco pants, gold chain necklace and new studded heeled chelsea boots from Shusole who have just launched a new website full of lovely heels, boots and more, there's even some neon wedges in there that would look perfect with some tanned legs and a cute dress! I hope you like my outfit :)
Ps. you can get 25% off Room 31 with the code Heidi25

The Monday Piece - River Island white cut out boots

This week's monday Piece is on cut out boots. They're white, they're cut out, they're my new love...SO many people have been rocking these cut out boots and I wanted a piece of the action, they're grungy, clumpy, 90's all rolled into one - i can't get enough of them. These cut out boots were first made 'famous' by Balenciaga in 2011, they were spotted on beauts like Nicole Richie and were an instant sell out, however they retailed at a staggering £1200, ouch!
A little while later and there are similar styles available on the high street, hooray, at much more achievable prices. The Jeffrey Campbell Coltrane boots would have been my first choice, but they've annoyingly sold out in the UK, so i've been keeping my eyes peeled for other high street dupes. Well, luckily, River Island have come to the rescue with these bad boys priced at £65 - I was so very tempted to order the black, as they're probably the safer choice, but i was so drawn to the white pair and eventually chose these (with thanks to people helping on Twitter!). I ordered online with next day delivery and they arrived in time for the weekend, yay. One of the shoes was a little more worn than the other, and the leather was a bit stretched, but as they are leather it's not a massive issue as they'll get scruffy anyway.
But...i love them, and they are so comfy, wore them all day Saturday stomping around Birmingham and no blisters/achy legs. The only thing i would say is that they are quite hard to match up with stuff, i had a bit of a tantrum on Friday night playing around with outfits whilst wearing them, especially because they are properly white (not cream) so they are bright to start with. I think they're great for Summer, and it's nice to have something a bit different as i've not yet seen anyone else with a white pair like these, loving the thick black sole and silver buckles too.
They might sell out, so if you want a pair then be snappy! Are you a fan of cut out boots?

Olly M jewellery - Initial necklace

I hope you've had a lovely weekend! Today I want to introduce Olly M Jewellery, I received this beautiful initial necklace last week and couldn't wait to wear it. The necklace has a 24k gold plated chain and is plated onto sterling silver so that it doesn't tarnish. It's so shiny and pretty, the gold is bright and so delicate too, it feels really luxurious and 'special' on - it is truly stunning. You can find the full selection of initial necklaces here, I think they would make the perfect gift or even a present to yourself (everyone deserves a treat!), it has a real classy, understated feel to it.
Olly M Jewellery also stocks friendship bracelets, earrings and other necklaces, each piece is wearable and affordable - and are quality, individual hand made items that can also be personalised. I hope you have the time to take a look at the collection, they have just relaunched the website, you won't be disappointed :)
Thank you to Olly M Jewellery for such a beautiful necklace!

What I wore today - Hedonia cropped jumper and Steve Madden Twynkle Sneakers

Finally getting round to showing you my Steve Madden Twynkle sneakers in an outfit post (they are now only £30 in the sale!), plus a little cropped sweater from Hedonia that I would have loved to have worn with a little skirt but i'm having a fat day and it's still too cold. Ha! Though i still like it over a long vest with some leggings, nice and casual for a Friday. You might be able to see that i've changed my hair slightly, i've gone darker - mainly due to my Mum and Sister telling me my hair looked green...which panicked me a fair bit...so I ended up doing it myself with a home hair kit. I think it looks ok anyway, despite being fluffy and frizzy in these pictures - it's not been styled at all so it's a right mess, must make more of an effort in future! It reminds me a little of the Friends episode where Monica goes to Barbados and has the monster hair...well maybe it's not that bad...is it?
Have a fab Friday :)

What I wore today - Zara dragon jumper and ripped jeans

I hope you're having a good week so far. This outfit has Zara written all over it...you know i just can't keep away from that shop, it's almost too good! Picked up this little sweater a few weeks ago for Spring, it's silky on the front with gold embroidery and a dragon...though it creases easily which is annoying as i don't do ironing, i ain't no wifey and all that! I live in these ripped jeans at the moment, so I could do with another pair, i'm so very tempted with the Topshop Joni jeans and they have new pretty colours out too!
In other news whilst writing this my Mum's arrived at the office with a weighted hula hoop for me, so we've put it together (with help from my Mum's boyfriend!) and tested it out, when they left even the other people i work with came in and had a go, so funny. So i'm too excited for that - i do love a fitness craze! Thank you Mum :)

The Monday Piece - AX Paris crochet skater dress

This weeks Monday Piece is on the crochet trend - I find it a tricky one to pull off and think it can look amazing on some people but I'm never too sure of it on myself, to be honest apart from this dress i don't think i have anything else. This AX Paris dress is like a little introduction to crochet for me (everyone has to start somewhere) and I'm always keen to try new trends. This is a super girly skater style, nude in colour, with a crochet front and I think it's just the right amount of crochet without being too over the top. The cut is just right for me and doesn't make my shoulders look enormous like some dresses do, and its a dusky nude colour which i don't wear too often so the whole thing is pretty daring for me! However I really like it and i'm now a crochet convert! I also love the little crochet shorts knocking about in Zara and H&M, they look so cute with little summer vests and the like so I may grab a pair whilst they're still available!

What I wore today - Camouflage jacket and buckle wedges

I hope you've had a lovely weekend. Yesterday I had a chilled out morning, then went to the garden centre for coffee and to look at the plants...bit weird and boring I know but I secretly loved it! Last night I went to my mums in Malvern where the evening was spent messing around and generally being silly with my brother and sister, lots of fun. Earlier today I went to Solihull to the Touchwood shopping centre - its so nice there, very modern and lots of lovely shops...they had a Zara so guess what happened?! Naughty me.
This afternoon hasn't been so great, sometimes being a responsible adult is overrated and annoying, but there we are...A little thank you to Alina from the Provocative Couture as I won this little camo jacket from her blog competition, I love it so thank you!
To keep up with my daily antics and lots of unnecessary pictures you can follow me on instagram, I'm heidilikes.
Have a fab evening :)

What i wore today - Sheinside purple galaxy leggings

These are the mother of all galaxy leggings, the colours are bright and the print is vivid, they may be my favourite pair yet...I think next time i'll wear them with some trainers and a big oversized white t-shirt! These pictures are slightly deceiving as it looks really sunny, but in reality it's definitely not as nice as it looks so don't worry. I've been slacking quite a bit recently in terms of health and fitness - works been busy, i've been busy (excuses, excuses)...so i need to get motivated and sort myself out. As you know I finished the 30 day shred a few weeks ago, i got quite good results from it so i'm after a new fitness challenge or work out, i'm tempted to get a weighted hula hoop and try that as i've seen a few good reviews, so if you have any suggestions or tips that would be lovely. Use it or lose it as they say - whatever that means!
Have a great Friday :)
