The Monday Piece - Fred N' Mates Studded Belt

This week's Monday Piece is on this Fred N' Mates studded belt! I love a studded accessory and this belt is no exception, made from buffalo leather the belt is super strong and has an authentic, classic look and feel - the silver hardware is ideal and the big buckle looks just right with the studs! Fred N' Mates offer belts and bags made from untreated leather in a selection of looks and finishes, i especially love their nubuck and worn in leather styles. I've worn the Harley belt with my J Brand jeans and striped shirt from River Island, i went for the smallest size so i can wear it on the waist and a little higher too - it's a great fit and sits so well, i've been pairing it with all my other jeans too :).

Boohoo Zip Leather Leggings

I saw these leggings whilst browsing Boohoo and picked them up for £15 which is a bargain! I must admit i'd be even more enthused if they had silver hardware as opposed to gold but i'm happy to settle for the gold! They are in between a leather look and a wet look, they're quite stretchy and pretty comfy too - though they look super skin tight on the model online, and they look low waist but they come quite high up mine - i'd say size down if you want that tighter style, i picked a 10 and think i would've been more happy with an 8 as i do like my trews tight tight tight! They're good fun though and i love a little different texture :).

The Monday Piece - Bomber Jackets, Tee's and Trainers

This week's Monday Piece is on bomber jackets, tee's and trainers! I'm all up for a bit of casual style, especially when it looks this good. I wore a bomber jacket in my previous post and mentioned how you can't really escape them at the moment - so i've been browsing my favourite online sites and selected a few that have really caught my eye! The two on the left are both from Boohoo.com, i especially love the camo jacket as it would go with all of my favourite black and grey pieces, and can really make an outfit 'pop'. The other two are also high street and available from Topshop who always get it bang on with their latest styles, the satin styles are proving popular with hipsters and i love the embroidered versions too - check out the full Topshop bomber jacket collection here! The ace thing about bomber jackets is that you can throw them on with pretty much anything, come rain or shine they look cool and are easy to wear - i've picked some casual tees an trainers to go with them, the 'In Fries We Trust' is so much fun! I'm also a sucker for some retro trainers, the Vans and Converse are super classics whereas the new style chunky Reebok's are just as awesome!

Leather Bomber Jacket

Bomber jackets are everywhere these days, so i thought i'd dig mine out from last year to re-wear! This one from Pull & Bear has a camel leather panel at the front, then neoprene black and white sleeves with a grey jersey panel to the back, it's a little structured compared to the standard nylon ones floating around but i like it. I couldn't resist wearing my retro style mirrored aviators with it too! I've got my eye on plenty of other bomber jacket styles too, i like the embroidered designs and heavier styles that are personalised with patches - they're awesome!

Embroidered Jeans

Just a quick outfit post from the weekend, as it's been so lovely and bright i've been wearing my embroidered jeans to celebrate...keeping it simple with all black everything else! The weekend was spent walking around the river in Worcester, then a bit of lunch in a sweet Italian restaurant, I had the spinach and mozzarella frittata which was so tasty! Then a bit of rugby watching which was awesome as England won, hooray!

The Monday Piece - Gemporia Review

This week's Monday Piece is on Gemporia! I'm a big fan of jewellery and jewels, especially rings and necklaces that i can wear and get pleasure from on a daily basis. Gemporia are based online and sell authentic, precious jewellery and jewels including diamonds, emeralds, sapphires and lots of other gemstones too - i was spoiled for choice in choosing a classic piece to wear, but the sapphires grabbed my attention as i love the deep blue colour and luxurious look to them! I ended up selecting this single sapphire solitaire ring as it looked simple, elegant, and suitable for daily use. I was so happy when it arrived and the ring looked even better than it did online. The colour is rich and deep, and the sapphire is set in a four prong yellow gold ring, it's a stunner.

I've been wearing it for almost a week and have been loving it, it sits nicely and the fit is spot on, if you're a little unsure about ring size when choosing one of their pieces then worry not as Gemporia have an app to download which works it all out for you, hooray! The price point is also excellent as Gemporia is amazing value for money, their prices won't be beaten and there are some true bargains to be had, definitely have a browse as there's sure to be something you fancy.

As well as their beautiful gemstones, Gemporia are actively involved with the Colourful Life Foundation, which works with established organisations to fund research-based projects that will deliver long-term, sustainable benefits to communities where the gemstones are found. Often, these are aimed at supporting existing educational facilities by solving problems that prevent children from having time to attend school regularly, but the Foundation also supports health and environmental projects too - it's so encouraging to see brands like Gemporia looking after the welfare of others, especially due to the jewels being found in the developing world.

I'm now a big Gemporia fan and have been browsing their stunning pieces regularly, particularly this emerald ring which looks so pretty! I've noticed that their pieces sell out super fast as they're so well priced and great quality, so if something catches your eye then get on it asap!

Leather Want List

It's always leather weather...whether it's a leather jacket, trousers, accessories or shoes i LOVE leather! I've been wearing my current leather jacket for almost 4 years...which is quite a long time lets face it, i wear it constantly, it's never been washed, it probably smells a bit, buuut i love it and it's moulded to my body - however this hasn't stopped me looking for an upgrade, so i can rest my other leather in between wears...this H&M style (second left) is a bargain as well as a beauty, it's sold out online so i'm trying to source it in store, but if i'm going to invest then it's more than likely i'll head to The Kooples as their leathers are a sensation, especially this one - also All Saints jackets are equally as alluring! I also love a jazzy leather trew, the River Island leggings are a great high street alternative to more expensive, real leather styles - plus the zipper biker trousers from Zara have been a mega hit with bloggers and celebs, but i tried them on last weekend and couldn't fit my butt into them so there's that story over...I was devastated. Maybe i could fit my size 4's into the Topshop open toe booties? Do you love a leather style?

The Monday Piece - Blush Pink

This week's Monday piece is on blush pink! I loooove my neutral colours but fancied adding a little bit of lightness in the form of this blush pink top. It's pretty neutral and not bright so it's a nice addition, it has an almost metallic look to it and the crinkle effect adds some texture. I went to Cardiff last weekend for shopping and a tasty lunch at Viva Brazil, and picked the top up whilst I was there from my fave place...Zara! It's fairly cropped so I've tucked it into my high waist jeans as I don't want my tummy out and about in the chilly weather!

Zara Double Layer Top

Looking a bit stroppy today, some things never change...! I've got a day off so i'm running errands and chilling, wrapped up in one of my favourite purchases of the winter - my Charlotte Simone fur hooded scarf (that i first wore here). She is a genius and her designs are incredible, i'm seriously considering selling a body part, or my boyfriend, so i can purchase one of her new shearling bomber jackets - gimme!

Love and Lust

Wedding season is creeping up as we get closer to Spring and the longer days...some of my pals are getting hitched so it's got me inspired with all things love! There are so many different bridal styles to choose from, and lots of themes too - i prefer delicate and dainty, sleek dresses and simple styles, the Calvin Klein dress below is so elegant and beautiful. I've also included some fun lovey bits like the cropped jumper and Love Hearts sweets. Also a few super pretty things that fit with the love theme including a pastel coloured Alexander McQueen scarf!

Bridal accessories are a huge part of the outfit on the big day, they need to fit with the whole look and theme. If you're looking for a beautiful bridal headband Rosie Willett designs is the place to go - the handmade pieces are unique, special and ideal if you're looking for something a bit different for yourself and bridesmaids too! Rosie Willett is an award winning designer who's pieces are regularly featured in glossy bridal mags, are worn by celebs and recommended by fashion editors too, plus as well as jewellery and headpieces, Rosie has released a line of love inspired bags, t-shirts and sweatshirts. The personalised styles offer a stylish way to wear your married name with pride and remember your special day - plus they would make an amazing unique and thoughtful gift for a loved one getting hitched! So cute!

Pretty Vintage and Retro Pieces

Vintage and retro styles are hugely popular and i often look at mega babes rocking their vintage look with envy! I often think how to incorporate a little of their style into my everyday look, whether it's a genuine vintage accessory like these extra special Chanel earrings, or going all out with a girly, vintage style petticoat from Vivien of Holloway. If you like your alternative, retro looks then click here to browse their site that's a den stuffed full of fun, feminine pieces! I love their slash neck tops, they look so sleek and can be worn in so many different ways, as well as their super classy pencil skirts. Aaaand their inspiration page is SO cute and full of ways to rock the retro look! I'm a sucker for things that 'look' vintage, especially when it's delicate and baby pink like the satin underwear...aso the fluffy shoes from Nelly are almost too hot to handle, gimme!
