This week's Monday Piece is on Bodega Worcester! Bodega have a couple of restaurants and recently opened in Worcester, i was invited along to the launch party and couldn't wait to try the food and drink. It's mega convenient for me as Worcester is my home city, and it's right next to the train station so the location is spot on. I'd not been to a Bodega before so i stalked out their website to see they describe themselves as 'a contemporary cantina bringing fresh, home made South American cuisine to Birmingham and Worcester' so i was fairly intrigued to see what they were all about! On the evening we were given a selection of cocktails to try, i had a passion fruit mojito which was so refreshing, and then a raspberry caipirinha which was tangy and sweet so right up my street. We were too late for the food which was disappointing, though i was told they do a fair bit of gluten free so i'll have to pop down again to see what it's like, the nachos look so good! The decor has a modern but also traditional feel, and the warm colours and chilled atmosphere makes it feel comfortable and cool. I'd recommend Bodega and think it's fab for Worcester, so if you're after cocktails and a bit of spicy food then check it out!
Full details of Bodega can be found on their website here.
