Pussycat London

Rainy pictures are a little annoying, but I wanted to show this pretty draped top from Pussycat London! It comes in a dress version too which is jus as nice, the top is made from a thick chiffon material and hangs just off the shoulders, i've dressed it up with some disco pants and asymmetric heels but it looks good with skinny jeans and boots too. Pussycat London have party dresses from only £9.99, and the 'New In' section is full of cosy knitwear! Plus you can get 30% off everything with the code BLOG30.
On Monday we travelled up to Liverpool to spend the night away, we had lots of yummy food and drink, and did some shopping and sightseeing. I'd not been since i was younger so it was good to go and explore it a little more, we loved it and will hopefully be returning soon - the people were so friendly and the docks area has been regenerated so it's just nice to walk around and have a nosey at everything!
I hope you like my outfit :).

What I wore today - leopard print top and baggy jeans

Hope you've had a great weekend, I'm currently having a nice chill out day with my little brother at my house. He was even kind enough to take these outfit pictures for me, i think he's done pretty well actually! I popped into Birmingham yesterday to browse the shops so obviously came back with a few bits, the shops are full of pretty, embellished clothes at the moment - everyone's starting to role out the Christmas stock and Selfridges even had their Christmas trees up! Its nuts, halloweens not even happened yet!
Last night me and my boyfriend had a quiet one, ate lots if food, watched strictly and then went to 2 Tesco's - wow my life is crazy right?! I love a nice relaxed weekend though. I've not worn this leopard print top in ages so thought it would brighten up my Sunday, as it's a casual day I wore my baggy jeans too - they're too comfy, I adore dropped crotch trousers (Zara have some fitted black ones atm that I'm itching to get my mitts on).
Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

What I wore today - snakeskin print trousers and grey

A super quick outfit post for you today. Oh dear, it seems my pictures have turned out rather green! As it's so dark in the morning and night, when I usually take my pictures, they aren't turning out as good as usual - so i shall have to find a different room to take them in i think. I've not worn these snakeskin trousers in ages and rediscovered them in a box a few days ago, they're a jersey fabric and so comfortable, as they're stretchy they hug you in all the right places too which is nice. So i kept it pretty simple with the rest of the outfit; standard black heels, grey top and spiky necklace - good to go. My body hates me after yoga last night, it was a new routine and it was much more difficult than the last one, i guess it's a good thing in the long run but will definitely take some getting used to. A cosy night in chilling out is definitely calling tonight...and possibly nachos too!

What I wore today - new Zara studded cardigan

Just a quickie outfit post before I head off to Cardiff, I'm wearing my beloved new Zara cardigan - its a cross between a jacket and cardigan and is quite thick, with a tweedy material in blue and cream with some little silvery bits too - it also has studded shoulders and if you do it up it has a little peplum at the waist (cute) so I just love it! I got it on Wednesday in Birmingham, it was such a bargain at £29.99 too - ill be wearing this over and over so hope you don't get sick of it! Apologies for my blurry/not very good pictures, my bf took them for me when I got back from work but somehow there's weird shadows around me, hope you can see the outfit ok anyway.
I find it tricky finding summer-autumn transition pieces as I hate being cold but hate being too hot too, so little jackets like this are perfect to throw on. I'm still after a new black leather/pleather jacket too, they had some cool ones in Zara but they were rather pricey at £150...
Have a great night!

What I wore today - baggy jeans and stars

Hope you've had a good week, I'm looking forward to a chilled out weekend! Not too sure what I plan to do yet, I'm kind of a last minute kind of girl but I'm sure some time will be spent browsing the shops of Worcester. I've got my eye on the Office nighthawk boots in black, I mentioned them a few posts down - they're a bit pricey at £80.00 but I'm very sure I'll get my use out of them.
When it comes to fashion I prefer quality over quantity - when I was a teenager I'd do most my shopping in Primark and spend £100 on ten tops and three pairs of shoes, i'd wear each item once or twice but then end up flogging them on eBay a month or so after! But now I'm in my twenties I'm more selective (and more fussy) about what I buy. There's a ton of cheap shops on the high street now that offer low price, disposable fashion though i'd rather spend £100 on a few items I know I'll wear over and over, that are also transition pieces and good quality. My favourite stores for fair prices, good quality, and amazing clothes at the moment are Zara, Topshop, H&M and River Island. Of course I shop in other stores too. However don't get me wrong, stores such as Primark and New Look throw out a few gems each season that I simply must have, and theres no denying the amazing prices!
Hope you like my outfit today...I went for the baggy jeans and heels look so slightly out of my comfort zone but I quite like it!
Do you have a favourite shop at the moment?
Do you rate quality or quantity when it comes to fashion?
