What I wore today - Topshop military coat

This could not be a more boring outfit...coat, top, trousers and shoes...but it's Sunday so it's all good in the hood! I really need to go into town today but I've got no energy or motivation, I'm thinking I'll cook some eggs and bacon then reassess the situation - I can always rely on fried meat to make things a little clearer! I don't think I've shown this coat before, it's quite an easy one to chuck over anything, it is so heavy though as its all wool, but I love the military style of it and the details on the buttons - although it's hard to see it also has leather bits on the underneath of the collar and on the pockets which is nice. I'm still fussy about my pictures being taken outside, but the light inside the house is just rubbish, even my stepdad said he didn't like the photos by the garden fence! How rude! What I wore today - silky Zara tartan shirt

It's Friday people, I don't even know why i'm so tired as i've only worked 3 full days this week! After the festivities i'm definitely missing the constant supply of food and drink, i get so greedy this time of year. However i am trying to eat a bit more healthily, i had natural yoghurt for breakfast every day this week, it's pretty yuk to be fair so not sure how long it'll last. I got this shirt from Zara just after christmas, it's so silky and soft so the draping and fit is really nice - it's rare i wear tight things on my top half, i've got broad-ish shoulders so tight tops don't look that great, it's a good job there's lots of loose fitting/oversized clothes about otherwise i'd be stuck. Actually i really want a plain white oversized t-shirt dress, so would love to hear if you have any recommendations. So Christmas is most definitely over, we're taking down the decoartions in work today, also i went to Costa yesterday to get a salted caramel latte and had a mini breakdown discovering the seasonal menu is now finished...nightmare. There's a few new bits i'll be hoping to post about soon, so hope you'll pop back!

What I wore today - Topshop jewel studded jumper and Zara spiked loafers

Happy New Year to you all! I'm not hugely into new year so NYE was lovely and quiet spent at home with champagne and a roast dinner. Yesterday we went on a long walk up and across the Malvern Hills - it was so cold and windy, i underestimated how muddy it would be so wore my biker boots...wrong decision, it's going to take me an age to clean them! So this is my first post of 2013, exciting. I rarely buy from Topshop anymore as there's other high street stores i favour before them, in my local store they stock a load of 'basics' like plain t-shirts and vests, and then lots of jeans that i just don't wear. So it's not often i even go in, however i had a voucher to spend and had a nice surprise when i went in last week as there was lots of embellished knitwear, prints and other pretty things - i picked this jumper up in the sale, the embellishment on the front is more like little jewels inside studs but it's hard to see in the pictures. My new satchel bag was a prize from the fantastic Laura (thank you), and the shoes i got from Zara - i love a good loafer!
