The Monday Piece - Spoiled Brat Outfit Challenge

This week's Monday Piece is on Spoiled Brat and a £50 outfit challenge! I chose this awesome Somedays Lovin oversized vest/tee, the jersey fabric is so soft and hangs really well - i got a size small and it fits great, plus it's only £30 in the sale with an extra 20% off at the checkout with the code SALE14. The little hamsa necklace is by Kool Jewels and is £9, i love anything gold so thought it would look great with the black top. I bought these leggings from Primark for £2, then the amazing cut out boots are ShoeZone and at a bargain price of £19.99 you really can't go wrong. Finally i threw on my favourite Joseph and his Technicolour Dreamcoat kimono that i got from eBay for under a tenner - so the total of the whole outfit is £66 which i think is pretty good! What I Wore Today - Sperry boots

I hope you're having a good week! I love this fluffy jumper but the tiny hairs get everywhere and stick to everything which is a little annoying but it's just sooo cosy i want to wear it all the time! These wedge Sperry boots are really cute, i don't have many light suede shoes but these are super soft and thought it'd be good to give my feet a break from all the black. I've also been loving this classic Twist & Tango coat, their sale is incredible and so stylish, plus the prices are amazing, check it out here :).

The Monday Piece - Shoe Zone

This weeks Monday Piece is on Shoe Zone! Shoe Zone have high street shops all over the UK and also have an online store. I must admit I've had plenty of shoes from the store before as the prices are so good plus the quality is equally as good! This studded pair of heeled Chelsea boots are amazing, they seem really hard wearing and are quite bulky which I like. I think they're a great versatile all rounder, I've worn them with a chunky roll neck I grabbed in the sale at River Island and some leggings. I saw a very well dressed girl in town today wearing the same boots which made me chuckle, they are a right bargain at £19.99! You can check out the full range that Shoe Zone have to offer here.

Poppy Lux velvet dress

When I think of Winter and popping on a glam but warm, comfortable dress, velvet always springs to mind. The soft, luxurious fabric drapes so well, and I love the traditional look to it. This wine coloured velvet dress from Poppy Lux is so festive and glam. The long sleeves instantly appeal to me as i'm not keen on my arms, and the sweetheart shaped mesh panel adds another dimension to it. It's quite fitted at the top, then has a twirly skirt shape which I love! What I wore today - Missguided fedora

Ooh a new hat, this time a fedora from Missguided. I'd tried a few styles on whilst shoppping last week but i wasn't too sure and they were so heavy, i spotted this on Missguided for £15.00 so thought it was worth a try - i ordered it Sunday night with saver delivery at £1.95 and it came via courier on Tuesday morning! It fits quite well, though a little big (my head's quite small), but it's 100% wool and has a little bow around it so i'm quite impressed really. I do love hats, Topshop have the cutest little bowler hat with ears on i may have to treat myself to.
The majority of the high street sales have started, Zara, Topshop, Urban Outfitters - i'd love to know if you've snapped up a bargain?! I've been keeping an eye on the Fashion Perks website who have a whole plethora of discounts availabe for online shopaholics like myself, if i can get any kind of reduction or free delivery it's a bonus, plus they're currently running a blogger competition you can check out here.

What I wore today - silky Zara tartan shirt

It's Friday people, I don't even know why i'm so tired as i've only worked 3 full days this week! After the festivities i'm definitely missing the constant supply of food and drink, i get so greedy this time of year. However i am trying to eat a bit more healthily, i had natural yoghurt for breakfast every day this week, it's pretty yuk to be fair so not sure how long it'll last. I got this shirt from Zara just after christmas, it's so silky and soft so the draping and fit is really nice - it's rare i wear tight things on my top half, i've got broad-ish shoulders so tight tops don't look that great, it's a good job there's lots of loose fitting/oversized clothes about otherwise i'd be stuck. Actually i really want a plain white oversized t-shirt dress, so would love to hear if you have any recommendations. So Christmas is most definitely over, we're taking down the decoartions in work today, also i went to Costa yesterday to get a salted caramel latte and had a mini breakdown discovering the seasonal menu is now finished...nightmare. There's a few new bits i'll be hoping to post about soon, so hope you'll pop back!
