The Monday Piece - Sugarhill Boutique

This week's Monday Piece is on Sugarhill Boutique! Sugarhill Boutique love making great quality garments that are rich in detail and designed lovingly. I love a cute novelty print so this bunny jumper is right up my street, it's so cute and of course grey and black so two of my favourite colours which makes it super easy to style! I've worn it with my fave shaggy coat and ripped skinny jeans. I think the random kitty cat must have liked the bunny jumper too as he appeared from nowhere, he gave me a big soft cuddle though so it was nice surprise :).

What I Wore Today - Becksondergaard green scarf

What's this, not another high neck jumper? Well yes, yes it is, at a tiny £7 from Primark i couldn't resist the slate grey colour and super soft feel - i'm already thinking about snapping up the cream version too. This green, printed Becksondergaard scarf is such great quality, the fabric is a 50% silk, 50% wool mix so it feels mega luxurious and falls around the neck so nicely - they're fab for layering and wrapping up in. They also have a chic selection of tees and other accessories including tote bags to match some of the scarves!
I hope you like my outfit :).

What I wore today - Lush scarves and asos

All black with a dash of multi coloured ombre in the form of this pretty chiffon scarf from lush scarves, it's like a sunset and is kind of tie dye too so i likeee it a lot. They sell loads of different styles and colours, this one is quite big so doubles up as a kimono, yay! Bad hair day alert, i had a bad experience a few nights ago when i discovered, half way through showering, that there was no conditioner to be seen...it took me 40 minutes to brush it afterwards, and it was like straw the following morning so i've been trying to rescue it ever since with serums, treatments and oils, first world problems. This little cami dress is from ASOS and was only £12, i was bored of seeing my legs so wore some leggings underneath. In other news i got pooed on my a bird whilst walking to work today, not ideal but what can you do, that's nature!
Hope you like my outfit :)!

The Monday Piece - Sheer prints

This week's Monday Piece is on sheer prints. Exposing flesh isn't something i'm all that good at, when i was younger it was different, and acceptable, to trot around town in the tiniest of shorts, but now i'm a little older i tend to cover up a fair bit. Crop tops and micro skirts just don't exist in my wardrobe so sheer fabrics make a grown up alternative. This shirt has a crazy print so slightly distracts away from the sheer chiffon - it's from the new Elf Sack range from Choies, which has some super cute stuff! I think sheer prints are also good if you're a little self conscious about your body but still want to add a bit of sassiness to an outfit without covering everything up. Also, i caved and bought the black Joni jeans, oops!
Are you a fan of sheer prints?

What I wore today - Missguided fedora

Ooh a new hat, this time a fedora from Missguided. I'd tried a few styles on whilst shoppping last week but i wasn't too sure and they were so heavy, i spotted this on Missguided for £15.00 so thought it was worth a try - i ordered it Sunday night with saver delivery at £1.95 and it came via courier on Tuesday morning! It fits quite well, though a little big (my head's quite small), but it's 100% wool and has a little bow around it so i'm quite impressed really. I do love hats, Topshop have the cutest little bowler hat with ears on i may have to treat myself to.
The majority of the high street sales have started, Zara, Topshop, Urban Outfitters - i'd love to know if you've snapped up a bargain?! I've been keeping an eye on the Fashion Perks website who have a whole plethora of discounts availabe for online shopaholics like myself, if i can get any kind of reduction or free delivery it's a bonus, plus they're currently running a blogger competition you can check out here.
I hope you like my new hat :).
