Voodoo Vixen Cape

A cape coat is just what I need to hide my tum after all of the festive foodie treats! I hope you all had a wonderful time this Christmas, now there's New Year to get prepared for! This woolen cape is from Voodoo Vixen, it's so feminine and swirly, there's little arm holes if you want to hange your arms out, and the faux fur trim finishes it off so well! It's super duper soft too and a great piece to throw on for a fresh Winter morning. Voodoo Vixen have such a cute, quirky selection of vintage inspired clothing, it has a real retro feel to it and the quality is great! I'm also wearing my new Topshop boots that I got whilst shopping in Cardiff, they were only £42 which I think is fairly reasonable for Topshop, I love the massive chunky platform and they're comfy too.

What I Wore Today - BANK Yeti Coat

Where does my hair end and the coat begin? I'm not too sure, but I do know i'm ready for Autumn in this incredible ombre yeti style coat from BANK! It is extremely fluffy and so warm and cosy! I wore it out shopping in Cheltenham yesterday too and had some lovely compliments from people, the butcher however said it was 'jazzy' and that it reminded him of Chewbacca out of Star Wars...and that it wouldn't be practical in the rain because I'd look like 'a drowned rat', well obviously he's never head of an umbrella! Silly man! I absolutely love it and can't get enough of it, when the wind blows it fluffs up everywhere too. I've worn it with some shiny trousers from Front Row Shop and cut out boots!

Twist & Tango printed jacket

I hope you're having a good week so far! Feeling a little smarter today in this printed Twist & Tango jacket, their new Winter collection is right up my street with lots of greys, blacks and dark colours and prints - they're a Swedish brand who make everyday dressing 'easy and effortlessly stylish'. It's available to buy from The Dressing Room, their new website has just launched and is super sleek and sharp, with an awesome collection of designer brands! The print on this jacket is quite jazzy, so i've kept the rest of the outfit simple, i love the fit as it's not too structured and the fabric is quite silky. I'm tempted by this cashmere beanie, it looks so soft! :).

What I Wore Today - BANK Fashion winter coat

I hope you're having a good week. I got this coat from BANK Fashion in Manchester last week, and have barely taken it off since! It's a super warm parka jacket, with a furry leopard print lining, and it has a hood and plenty of pockets - a proper winter jacket good for the wet weather. BANK have so many awesome coats in, lots of styles similar to this - also shaggy jackets, biker jackets and gilets. I like Winter but get cold really easily so i always invest in a big coat, as well as lots of faux fur and chunky layers!

Three ways to wear - French Connection coatigan, Part 3

This is the last post in the 'Three ways to wear' feature. Today's look is a little more dressy, if i'm off into town at night for drinks or food, i always take an extra layer or jacket - being cold is never fun. The versatility of the coatigan is so good, and i've literally been throwing it on with anything and everything, it's definitely a statement piece that can be worn in lots of ways so i'm really pleased with it! I'm after a few more Autumn pieces, i went shopping at the weekend but was so indecisive about everything that i came home empty handed, how sad. Plus Birmingham was crazy busy so Topshop and Zara were like massive saunas so it was practically impossible to browse through everything without being elbowed by sweaty shoppers. I did pop into Selfridges to have a look at a few new brands they have in like Sandro and Maje - i wanted everything, it's all fairly simple but such good quality and generally lovely (if a little overpriced).

What I wore today - Sheinside white skort

It was sunny, now it's raining and cold so this is absolutely not weather appropriate...buuut isn't this white skort nice?! As you may have seen I have the black Zara version, this is the white Sheinside version and it's pretty much exactly the same, and half the price! Happy days. Remember to size up though as its Chinese sizing. Yesterday I popped over to Hereford, where it also rains a lot, I did a little shopping and generally mooched around which was nice. This top is from H&M and is only £7.99, I had a little panic when I couldn't find my size in the shop but found one in the changing rooms just as I was leaving - obviously it was meant to be! I'll always love an oversized t-shirt. I've picked up a few things from H&M lately, they've got some amazing bikinis, though they are modelled by Beyonce who is nothing less than a pure goddess...so prepare yourself for huge body envy as the enormous posters are plastered everywhere!
