What I wore today - Office edgy buckle shoes

I posted a little snap of my new shoes on Twitter a few days ago, i do love a new pair of shoes and these certainly don't disappoint. They were an absolute steal from the Office sale, sadly they are now sold out but i couldn't resist their quirkiness. It's been a long old week at work as this is usually a busy month for us so i'm ready for the weekend, the weatherman even said it might snow which makes it even more exciting as we've not had any in Worcester this Winter. I'm wearing my beanie hats to death at the moment, they're so snug and keep my hair from going crazy in the wind, this one was under £3.00 from eBay and a UK seller too so delivery is quick, here is the link if you'd like one. I've worn this studded shirt quite a bit recently, it's an easy throw on that looks good with most things without having to make a massive effort, and it's cream and gold - two of my favourite colours! I'm really looking forward to next seasons clothes, lots of colours, neons and summery things - black and grey is far too addictive during winter. I'm sure you've all got that Friday Felling like i have - have a good one :)

What I wore today - Helmut Lang neon green top and grey beanie

Thank you to you all who commented on my beauty related post yesterday, I was a bit scared writing it but definitely glad I mixed it up the blog a little by adding that kind of post. But fear not fashion girls and boys, an outfit post is back!
I just got back from a yoga class and I'm absolutely shattered, works busy too and I have a list of things as long as my arm that I need to do. But hey, such is life!
I'm super duper excited to show you my new Helmut Lang top, when it comes to handbags and shoes I don't mind spending the dollar on them as I know I'll reuse them over and over - so I usually stick to the high street when it comes to actual clothing. However...it was my birthday and I deserved a treat so picked this gorgeous soft, asymmetric Helmut Lang top from Selfridges. It's much more neon green in person, but as its quite sheer it's not *wow* that's BRIGHT! Helmut Lang is one of my favourite designers, as is Alexander Wang, and I'm more than happy to save up pennies to buy more expensive *designer* clothes in the future, remember peeps - quality not quantity :)

What I wore today - Minusey printed jeans and biker jacket

Hello, it's been a little while since an outfit post so here I am. I've been super busy at work all week and have barely had chance to do anything. I went to Birmingham on Saturday to indulge in a little shopping which was nice, picked up a few bits and bobs and got some stuff online too. Sunday i did a little more shopping and picked up these biker boots which are mega comfy and look great with my grey skinnies, i then popped to the library then back home to relax and have dinner.
I've barely taken my new Minusey jacket off, I love it so much and adore how I can just throw it on ad looks good. I've bought a new dress type top type tunic thing too to wear to The Look Show on Saturday, I'm really looking forward to it and can't wait to see how the models are styled in high street clothing. I've been working hard all week so felt like i deserved a little treat so i popped into Boots on my lunch hour - I was in their an entire hour! They have 3 for 2 offers on and I needed new make up, and ended up leaving with a bag full of stuff i probably dont need and a rather low bank balance! Oops. So glad I can finally show you these printed jeans, they're tight and white and printed and amazing. They look good with heels, wedge trainers and even dressed down with biker boots so were a no brainer - I know they're probably not everyone's cup of tea but I'm very happy with them and can't wait to wear them with other nice things...
I hope you're having a good week so far, my pictures have turned out greenish again as they were taken after work when nearly dark!

The Monday Piece - Minusey.com

This Mondays Piece is on online fashion Boutique Minusey; As i have mentioned in a previous post I recently won a competition on my FASHIOLISTA profile - for those of you who don't have fashiolista it's a social website you join where you create your own style profile, you then go onto websites and 'discover' or 'love' items and create looks and lists, as with blogger you can also follow people and view other people's profiles and loves. It's such a great site and a real easy way to interact with people who have the same style tastes as you. They also run a load of competitions each week where you can win vouchers for shops, make up and other fashion items such as handbags and sunglasses (you can join fashiolista here). I've had my profile only a couple of months and I'm addicted, so when I was contacted to say I'd won the Minusey contest I was so excited and couldn't wait to discover the brand and pick a few items.
Minusey is an online boutique based in America, it's very new and only launched this year (2012), they stock a few selected items and focus on quality and unique items that can't be found on your local high street - they sell tops, dresses, jackets, shoes, accessories and beach wear too. There is only a few of each item stocked so if you see something you want then snap it up sharpish, the items are chic, edgy and generally amazing - I would say they are a mix between Zara and Topshop, but I love how the items are hand selected by their on site stylist and it's reassuring to know all of your friends won't be wearing the same as you as the pieces are different and limited editions. Plus they offer worldwide free shipping for all orders over $100! I've shown some of my favourite pieces below, I am desperate for it all, especially the neon spike necklace and the black t-shirt dress! I can't wait to show you my chosen new items when they arrive. I'm sure if you check out their website you won't be able to resist what they have to offer!

This is NOT a sponsored post, I just love both Fashiolista and Minusey.
