What I wore today - Grey blazer and pink beanie

I'm spending this sunny but chilly day with my little brother (he's 20 which isn't that little) who very kindly took these photos on his iPhone, I made him a fry up for brunch in return though! My sister was meant to be here too but she was out partying last night so think she's too hungover. We're off into town for the afternoon, I'm not planning on buying anything though as we have a ridiculous MOT bill to save for, boo! Practical spending is the worst - I'm like Carrie Bradshaw, "I like to see my money right where I can see it, hanging in my closet" - love that quote, if only I had a Mr. Big to make me a huge walk in wardrobe...a girl can dream right?

What I wore today - Helmut Lang neon green top and grey beanie

Thank you to you all who commented on my beauty related post yesterday, I was a bit scared writing it but definitely glad I mixed it up the blog a little by adding that kind of post. But fear not fashion girls and boys, an outfit post is back!
I just got back from a yoga class and I'm absolutely shattered, works busy too and I have a list of things as long as my arm that I need to do. But hey, such is life!
I'm super duper excited to show you my new Helmut Lang top, when it comes to handbags and shoes I don't mind spending the dollar on them as I know I'll reuse them over and over - so I usually stick to the high street when it comes to actual clothing. However...it was my birthday and I deserved a treat so picked this gorgeous soft, asymmetric Helmut Lang top from Selfridges. It's much more neon green in person, but as its quite sheer it's not *wow* that's BRIGHT! Helmut Lang is one of my favourite designers, as is Alexander Wang, and I'm more than happy to save up pennies to buy more expensive *designer* clothes in the future, remember peeps - quality not quantity :)

The Monday Piece - Internacionale

 

The Monday Piece this week is on fashion brand Internacionale. I was invited down to their Spring/Summer 2013 press day on Wednesday but unfortunately am not able to attend, so i decided to instead show you my favourite pieces from the current range. The brand have been around for a good few years and have over 140 stores across the UK as well as a fantastic website. They offer affordable, on trend clothing and footwear for women as well as having a teen/girl section - it's a store i've shopped in since i was about 10 and often visit it on my lunch break from work during the week. I find it's quite a similar brand to New Look though often better value, and you can always find something pretty and stylish in there - though occasionally you do have to hunt for it! I have picked a few of my favourite items for this season, this camo jacket is only £20.00, such a bargain - and the sequin leggings look amazing too! What I wore today - chunky open knit jumper and neon

I don't ever want to take this neon beanie off, it's one of my favourite things I've bought in recent weeks - I'm such a fan of neon and am definitely tempted to get one in yellow too! It's so windy at the moment, my hair was flying everywhere this morning when I took these pictures.
I went to the safari park yesterday and had such a great day, I always recommend it to people as its such a laugh and I love feeding all the animals, even if they do slobber all over your hands!
I've got a few new things coming this week so keep an eye out for new bits and bobs, winter fashion is my favourite, cosy jumpers, biker boots and statement coats are some of my favourite things to wear. I've worn these faux lita boots to death, I'm on the look out for a new pair but can't decide what colour or style, I'm tempted to get a studded pair - if you know of any good ones please let me know. Did anyone go out for Halloween this weekend? I must admit its really not my thing, I'm rather superstitious so usually hide away during Halloween so I didn't go out/celebrate, instead I stayed in and watched Strictly Come Dancing. I'd love to see some of your outfits though :)

What I wore today - chicnova ripped spike jumper and skinny jeans

Just a little and quick outfit post, I hope you've had a good week so far, its been another busy Thursday for me today as I had to work this morning then had an appointment with my dietician at the hospital concerning my coeliac disease - I left with loads of information and diet sheets galore so hopefully it'll sort itself out in the next few months to come, it's just a case of planning each meal and being very strict with myself! On a more fun note do you like my new jumper?! Chicnova sent it me and i love it - its grungy and ripped and spiky and black so it's right up my street, I also love the oversized style. I'm having a quiet night in tonight catching up on some TV and looking for gluten free recipes online, plus a bit of commenting on some of your lovely blogs too.

This may be my last bare legs post for a while as autumn has almost definitely arrived (i'm well aware these shorts are too quite short!) - it's been very chilly in the night and early mornings - so much so that i'm off to buy a cosy blanket at lunch time to snuggle on the sofa with! I've been pretty busy over the weekend so haven't had chance to do an outfit post, but better late than never. I was mega excited yesterday as my Minusey stuff arrived, it's fantastic quality and all fits really well - so I will be showing off my new things in days to come. I've also sold a load of my old stuff on eBay so I have money to spend on nice clothes for winter, hooray, a proper shopping trip is definitely calling!

I must thank my sister for this shirt as she gave it me the other weekend, it's from GAP which is a shop i don't tend to go into often, but i really like the oversized style and the way it hangs, it looks great with almost anything too which is a bonus. A quiet day for me today at work but I'm off to yoga later to be stretched and relaxed, i can feel the pain already...

What I'm wearing today - neon and boucle

That's right, I've got my favourite Zara jacket on...again! I hope your not sick of it because I'm loving it too much. I love the mix of boucle,tweed,studs and silvery bits - there's a few more similar on the website that are rather difficult to resist. I've worn a similar outfit like this before, however I'm always keen to get my money's worth out of my clothes so don't mind re-wearing key pieces I buy. I ought to invest in another pair of black jeggings as I wear this pair quite a bit, I might try some super tight black jeans instead (suggestions for where I can get some from are more than welcome please)!
I'm not up to much today, just working and composing a wishlist of items from my favourite online stores. I've spotted that neon necklace in H&M recently but in pink so may have to wander over at lunch time, their jewellery is just too nice. Not long until the weekend, hooray! Do you have any nice plans?

What I'm wearing today - primark leather sleeve safari parka and tigertop

I've just got time for a little outfit post today, as you may know from my previous post I'm busy busy busy packing up my flat ready for the house move. I'm so relieved it's a bank holiday weekend as it gives me more time to prepare, back to work tomorrow though. Since I've been sorting through all my stuff I've realised I have SO much stuff I don't wear anymore or stuff I've just worn once and then forgotten about... so I'm thinking of starting a small 'shop' on a new page of my blog - ill just take a load of pictures of the items and add the prices, it'll all be cheap and cheerful though for any of you who are interested :) more on that later!
I'm also trying to do my pictures in a different format so they are all the same size and shape, as well as this I'm also trying to link back to things i buy, I'm sorry for being so lazy (such a bad blogger). I want a new layout and background too but I'm so indecisive - I need someone who is clever to do this for me though as I'm just awful and so rubbish when it comes to being creative. Help please!
