Damart Dogtooth Coat

I was so surprised flicking through the Damart lookbook as i expected it all to be fairly classic and simple, but they have some amazing pieces like this dogtooth print coat - it has quite a tailored fit to it which i like, and the collarless design makes it look really sleek! I'm also wearing some new black skinny jeans from Warehouse, i'm super fussy with denim and find it hard to get decent jeans for a reasonable price that fit well, but this pair are SO good and definitely worth the £40, they've already been worn lots and are holding their shape really well! This Pieces bag is a new addition too, i love the mix of black with silver hardware - i'm trying to make more of an effort with accessorising as i usually stick to tiny necklaces and delicate jewellery, although i tend to wear smallish studs in my ears i'm thinking of getting my ears pierced again so i can wear a small pair of silver hoops, jewellery website fresh trends has a huge selection of body jewellery including earrings, nose rings and tummy bars - by tummy bar grew out twice which was so annoying as i think it looks so pretty!
I hope you like my outfit :).

What I Wore Today - Zara jacket

I hope you're having a good week. I've been feeling quite scruffy so i've smartened up a little with a fitted jacket and printed top. I've been loving all things jewellery and accessories recently, including handbags too. There's so many cool sites selling pretty jewellery in particular fresh trends body jewellery, I love the selection they have for all kinds of body jewellery and lots of it has crystals in! I'd love some more ear piercings at the tops of my ears maybe with some tiny hoops, I think i'd worry about getting my hair caught in them though! I hope you like my outfit :).

What I Wore Today - Leather sleeved jumper

I hope you're having a good week so far. It was my birthday at the weekend so i celebrated it spending time with family, it was brother's 21st too so it was nice to have a good get together! We did a little shopping in Bicester and Birmingham, as well as eating lots of yummy birthday food. I'm loving all things textured at the moment, this oversized leather sleeved jumper from DAP Boutique is snuggly and so cute. I love the slouchy feel of it, and it drapes off the shoulder too - i'll be dressing it up with some leather trousers and chunky heeled boots!
I hope you like my outfit :).

The Monday Piece - Great Plains

This week's Monday Piece is on Great Plains. The sister brand to French Connection, Great Plains clothing is simple and stylish, with a distinct relaxed feel. This season they have lots of tailored things and chunky knitwear. These coated leopard print jeans are an easy piece to wear - i love the print and waxed layer, i've worn them with all black and a fedora! Great Plains have introduced stretch technology in their jeans, making them a little bit more stretchy giving the appearance of slimmer legs and hips - i'd recommend sizing down if you like your jeans tight. The whole range works so well together, making it easy to incorporate a full outfit!
In other news i've dyed my hair darker, which has turned me into a Wednesday Addams wannabe.

What I Wore Today - Choies tartan panel coat

I love the boxy shape of oversized coats, this one from Choies is made of a thick, firm felt material and has a green tartan panel to the front and back. I wear lots of black, so thought it would be nice to start wearing a bit more navy and other dark colours with some slightly different textures too. The coat has a popper at the front and a collar that's hidden underneath my hair, i'd recommend sizing up if you fancy one yourself, also it comes in four different colour combinations! I've been wearing these boots so much, they're only £38 and i've been so pleased with them, the heel is blocky making them easy and comfy to walk in all day. I think i'll be investing in some more high neck tops too, they're easy to layer and mega versatile!

Cheesy Festive Jumper

This jumper is pretty crazy and festive! I always enjoy novelty knitwear when the weather starts getting colder, i love wrapping up and keeping cosy. The jumper is from Cheesy Christmas Jumpers which is the most amazing place to get festive knitwear - all of their styles are unisex and the prints and designs are really bold and bright with a classic twist, some of them even light up! I chose the Winter Wonderland traditional knitted Fair Isle Christmas Jumper, it features prancing reindeers and snowflake, it's so thick and soft, and great to wear during the cold. They also have a new range of party shirts coming out soon which look lots of fun! You can shop the full collection here.

What I Wore Today - So in fashion dress

This printed dress is such an easy throw on and go piece, it's from So In Fashion and comes in lots of other colours including navy blue and khaki as well as this dark red version - it's a bargain to at £25! I've worn it with a fedora and boots, i think it will also look good with some layering underneath for when it gets a bit chillier. The girl on the website is wearing it with a dark red bowler hat which looks amazing, so i'm tempted to find one similar! So In Fashion have lots of lovely things, i've spotted some awesome fringed kimonos and a cute daisy jumper, the prices are so reasonable too.
I hope you like my outfit :).

Three ways to wear - French Connection coatigan, Part 1

Today is the start of a 'three ways to wear' feature, with this fab French Connection coatigan. I wanted to show you how versatile it is - it's a key autumn/winter piece that will be used lots, and can be worn in so many different ways, and comes with a belt to tie around the waist. The wooly material is so soft, and the grey/white/black colours are neutral so easy to wear with other things. Todays look is cosy and casual, i feel the cold really easily so i always wrap up. I bought these cord leggings from ASOS as i knew they'd keep my legs warm, and wore my River Island boots too.
How do you like to wrap up in autumn?
