New In - Marc Jacobs Sunglasses

These Marc Jacobs sunglasses are my new favourites, the tortoiseshell colour and angular style are right up my street and can be worn with everything! They came with the Phillip Lim Pashli bag so of course i'm extremely grateful to receive them. They're really light, but not in a flimsy way, so sit well on the face and are mega comfortable - i've got a few other chunky pairs that make me sweat in warm weather and rub off my make up which is annoying, so these have been my go to pair as they're so good! Marc Jacobs does a massive range of sunglasses, i recommend checking them out if you're after a new pair :).

What I wore today - mint lace and dangerous sandals

Bonjour! What a lovely day it's been in the UK. I had a nice lie in this morning, then did a big tidy up of my flat (god only knows how two people can make it so messy), and then I went into town with my boyfriend where we had a nice lunch and bought a tent for future camping adventures. I do love camping, even if it's just for a night or two I find it so peaceful and just lovely. Plus campsites only charge a few pounds a night so it's super cheap to get away from the city. I also bought a new pair of clippers to shave my guinea pig, he's a long haired breed and needs lots of trimming and grooming to keep his coat relatively short and practical, bless him. So I'll be shaving him a bit later on and giving him a bubble bath - which he loves it by the way.
I retried on the office nighthawks, I was so prepared to part with my £80 but sadly they weren't 'quite' right...the size three boots did fit but they weren't that comfy, plus I felt they even made my baby feet look big, so not sure what they'd look like on a larger foot either, maybe they looked slightly odd on me as i'm a but if a short ass at 5 foot 4. So in the end I didn't buy them, I believe in the motto 'if in doubt go without' and I totally feel I've made the right decision. My search continues for the perfect winter boot...if you've seen some nice ones be sure to let me know in the comments please!
Loving my recent Zara sale purchases, as i'm sure you've noticed, this mint lace top is my favourite, super light material, great colour, peplum style and a sheer back - what's not to love?!

What I did this week - pictures

This weeks been a pretty good one I think, so far anyway! I got paid on Tuesday, which is always nice, worked Monday-Friday, met with my sister and had nachos and a gossip, and watched the fab Olympics ceremony last night. I also bought some more new shoes, oops - they were a total bargain though and can be worn all year round, justified?! Other than that the mini spending ban is going pretty well.

The first pictures are of my day out yesterday; It was so great, my favourite day out in a while - me and my boyfriend rented a rowing boat for the afternoon and rowed down the river Severn where we ended up at a lovely little pub that had lots of chickens and ducks where we had a nice drink in the sun, then rowed back again (well I didn't row - he did!). It was so peaceful and the sun was shining - I definitely recommend it and I'm sure we'll be going back sometime soon!

The second pictures are; my leopard print wedges from Fridays outfit, Krispy Kreme doughnuts - super yum, me posing, and my boyfriend holding my Guinea pig (he's on medicines at the moment so needs lots of TLC).

Ive just got back from the gym and am off into town for coffee, hope you've had a lovely week.

What I wore today - River Island spiky sandals

Just a quickie today; these are my new River Island sandals I bought at the weekend in the sale - they are so cool I just love them! The sandals are leather and the studs are proper metal spikes, so I need to be careful I don't accidentally tread on them if I leave them on my floor. As they are multi coloured I can wear them with pretty much anything which is great for me as some mornings I need to get dressed super quick do don't have that much time to plan my outfit for the day.
They were £15 reduced from £35 so In really pleased I for them, they were the only pair left and just so happened to be in my size so I guess it was meant to be ;) however after wearing them today my feet are hurting quite a bit - I walk everywhere everyday so I need a shoe to be comfy and practical as well as looking good, obviously! But these have left me with proper big blisters on my heels, ouch. I'm just hoping I can wear them in quickly so I'll get good wear out of them. Any tips for wearing in shoes would be amazing?!
Is comfort important to you when buying shoes?

What I wore today - Zara sale outfit

Firstly I am sorry I have been rubbish at blogging this week! I am back working full time and have joined the gym this week too, as well as a load of other things i've had to sort out. A few of you have asked what i do - I work in insurance as a claims handler in Worcester :)
Back to blogging; here is my outfit for the day. I can't believe that the sun came out today, finally! Also the Zara sale started last week and I was clicking away at midnight ensuring I'd get all the goodies I wanted, and here are 2 of them. I love the white tweedy type shorts, they're really lightweight and have studs on the pockets and look great with the majority of my summer tops. This top is great too, i love the green colour with the sheer back and chiffon underlay, it looks really smart too which I like. I got some other fab things too which I'll show you soon I'm sure. Also how massive is my hair today? I think it's the heat!

I'm so excited for Friday tomorrow, it's been such a long week and I'll be letting my hair down on Saturday attending a family wedding in Shrewsbury. And then Sunday will most likely be a day of chilling and going to the gym.

Do you have any nice weekend plans?
