The Monday Piece - Pointed flat shoes

This week's Monday Piece is on these little flat pointed shoes, i wore them in a recent outfit but thought i'd do a post on them as i like them a lot! They are from Choies who have an awesome selection of footwear, this pair remind me of Alexander Wang and high street shops like Topshop and River island have similar pairs available but these are the nicest i've seen! They're all leather and have a silver clasp around the ankle, and have lots of cut out details too. They were a little stiff at first, but they're softening up nicely, they look cute with some ripped skinny jeans or oversized dresses, i think they're really versatile and a bit 'different' to normal flats which is good :).
Are you a fan of flat, pointed shoes?

What I wore today - Monki printed t-shirt

I hope you're enjoying the weekend! I thought I'd pop up a little post whilst the sun is out and make the most of it! I bought this Monki top fom ASOS a few weeks ago, I love Monki and am a big fan of their clothes, but I think their only UK store is in London which is annoying - I wanted to buy some stuff from their online shop but the shipping is £6 which is crazzzzy, so I was pleased when they started appearing on ASOS as they do free delivery and returns, yay. Anyway this cute printed top was a bargain at £12, they've got some really cute beanie hats and accessories too!
Have you bought anything from Monki?

Boutique Princess printed dress

This is meant to be a midi dress but unfortunately it didn't look right on my short arse legs so I’ve been naughty and hitched it up to a mini! I remember the days of rolling the top of my school skirt over as a teenager, trying do it in secret but always getting caught out by my Mum - however many years later and I’m still doing the same! If I was a few inches taller I’d be loving the longer style, it's fitted though so can be hitched up easily and stays in place. It's from Boutique Princess, the material is thick and soft, and I love the patchy animal print. I was so excited when I found these asymmetric heels in Primark, they're super similar to the Zara versions that have been re-released a gazillion times - I wore them last week to an event, and they are truly painful to walk in and tore the backs of my feet to shreds, buuut they look nice so I’ll continue wearing them and hope they get better and more comfortable. I went to a film preview last night at Merry Hill and took my little brother as my chaperone - we watched Runner Runner, it's all about gambling and features Ben Affleck and Justin Trousersnake Timberlake, I won't ruin it for you if you're planning on watching it, but we enjoyed it!
I hope you like my little dress :).

What I wore today - Topshop pink fluffy t-shirt

I hope you're having a good week so far. I'm loving all things fluffy and hairy so was excited to find this baby pink t-shirt in Topshop on Oxford street, and it was only £24 which is pretty decent for Topshop as i think has gone sooo expensive recently - it comes in pastel blue too which is tempting. The reviews on the website are rubbish but i really like it, it hasn't shed and really fluffs up when you wear it, especially when it's windy! The pictures are a little mismatched as I wore my nose ring for one but took it out for the others...nevermind. Also picked up these black River Island ankle boots, i'd love a pair of Isabel Marant Dicker boots but that's not going to happen, so these are a good, cheap alternative!
Do you like fluffy things?

The Monday Piece - Satchels and shoes

This week's Monday Piece is on Satchelsandshoes.co.uk. It's no secret that i love black, it's a colour that looks good with pretty much everything, it's universal and i can't get enough of it! So, it's always nice to jazz it up a little with some colour popping accessories like this bright, tangerine orange satchel. It has a long accross body strap, as well as a top handle so can be carried. The front buckles are magnetic so snap shut, the inside features a printed design, with a front pouch and large inside pocket which also has a zippy compartment - there's lots of room and the material is quite spongy so it's easy to fit things in. It's a right bargain and currently on sale for £15.95, it also comes in a protective bag. They have other colours and styles too, like this pastel nude version!
It's a fab bag to brighten my black outfits, do you like orange?

What I wore today - Skip N' Whistle Unicorn t-shirt

I hope you're having a good weekend. I did a car boot this morning so was up super early getting all my old stuff ready to sell, so it required a simple, easy outfit such as this! The car boot was pretty hectic, people do love a bargain and searching through everything, but i got rid of quite a bit so I'm pleased. When that finished we went to a local dog show, we watched the cutest puppy competition which was obviously insanely adorable. There was a huge fluffy Landseer who slobbered all over me, he was wearing a bib there was that much slime! My skin looks really white in thee snaps - ive been trying Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation so i think thats the culprit, so any tips on how to tone the white down would be appreciated please. This t-shirt is from Skip N' Whistle, I couldn't resist the cheeky unicorn slogan on the front, if you fancy one you can get 15% off with the code HeidiLikes15 :). I hope you like it!

What I wore today - Snake print shirt

I hope you're having a good week so far. I accidentally posted this earlier without any words, oops. Anyway, how very snakealicious this shirt is! I do like a bit of animal print and the neutral colours of this shirt from Boutique Princess are good for wearing with some tight jeans, my go to trousers at the moment. Also wearing these amazing pointy toed flats from Choies, they're very Alexander Wang inspired and have a little silver buckle ankle strap and cut out details - they're real leather so i'm going to keep wearing them to give them more of a distressed look!
I have an exciting giveaway to win an exclusive Becksondergaard scarf, if you like you can enter here.
I hope you like my outfit :).

What I wore today - DAP boutique speckled jumper

I have some fantastic news, it's time to whip out the beanie hats again! I will do my best not to over do the beanie wearing, but i can't make any promises. I spied a cute one in topshop with polka dot mesh over the front, so that may happen in the near future! I received this jumper in a surprise package from DAP Boutique last week, it's a creamy colour with multi colour speckles and it has a button up back which adds a little summin summin. Chilly, dark days like today mean comfy outfits, so i've worn it with my ripped skinnies and cut out booties. I went to an event last night at Westfield Merry Hill in association with BHS - a store i haven't been in for years, who knew they have a Dorothy Perkins and Wallis hidden away in there, well not me that's for sure?!
I hope you like my outfit :)

The Monday Piece - Boutique Princess

This week's Monday Piece is on Boutique Princess, an online store that opened in 2012 who offer a selection of dresses and statement jewellery, designed to make you feel amazing. This is a concept i can relate too, most girls want to put on a dress and feel super sassy! There are lots of familiar brands on the website, with different styles of dresses too - maxis, minis and midis. Boutique Princess is part of the Boutique 77 family, a London based retail company with over 20 years experience in the fashion industry. This little navy dress with lace panels has just the right amount of detail, without being OTT, and of course the swing style is right up my street!

What I wore today - MeeMee Minkpink dress

I've been poorly the last few days with a sickness thing, so not feeling too chipper and looking rather washed out, so I thought I'd pop this Minkpink dress on from MeeMee to cheer me up a bit! It's all over velvet, with a bold print in pinks, blues and purples - just the dress to brighten up a dreary day like today. I love the skater style and the baby doll fit, it's quite oversized and loose which I like and it has a slight dip hem too. I've worn it with some Topshop wedges, but it looks just as cute with some cut out boots and a leather jacket! I've always been a fan of velvet, the texture is just so cosy, and it's everywhere the season too, hooray!
I hope you like my outfit :).

What I wore today - White two piece

Still into the whole two-piece suit thing, though in my defence i haven't got a skirt version, and it's all white so can be split up to make other outfits. It also makes it look like i've got a tan, which i most definitely have not, the flippy style skirt is pretty cute and reminds me of when i was a cheerleader! The suit is made from a thick jersey and has an almost fleecey lining that's coming in handy for the much chillier weather we're experiencing in the UK, i think it's almost time to put my legs away! In other news I was invited to the Selfridges party for the Bull Ring's 10th anniversary last week in Birmingham, there was lots of champagne, food, cocktails and fun entertainment and it was generally a fantastic evening! My Mum popped over at the weekend to raid my wardrobe as she's off to Spain for 10 days, jammy thing, if only i was jetting off into the sunset...i hope you like my outfit :).

Avenue 32

I just can't help myself when it comes to playing around with outfits! This candy coloured ensemble from Avenue 32 is a fun, girly outfit, toughened up with some chunky black accessories including these dreamy Phillip Lim hairy loafers which remind me of the beautiful Olsen twins (they love a good loafer). The croc print handbag, woolen Carven skirt and fluffy jumper make it a full on textured look, a trend that i'm loving! The outfit also features some gold and pastel coloured jewellery, and the little metallic pink pig is actually a piggy bank - i need it to save for some lovely winter clothes! Avenue 32, launched in 2011, stock big brands and designers like Temperley London and new designer A.P.C as well as fresh, emerging talent such as Danielle Romeril. The website is full of classic pieces, as well as exciting new knitwear and accessories!
What do you think of this super sweet outfit?

The Monday Piece - Claires Accessories

This week's Monday Piece is on Claires Accessories. A shop I used to go in all the time as a teenager, but not very much recently, so when I was invited to the Claires event in the Harvey Nichols champagne bar in Birmingham I was excited but a little apprehensive.  Well it turns out I've been missing out on all of their awesome pieces, and I was so surprised that I liked it all! They've seriously upped their game - as well as the fabulous headgear,  fluffy crowns and bunny ears which obviously I can't get enough of, there's a huge selection of statement necklaces, pretty collars, and stackable bracelets. There really is something for everyone,  of all ages and it's available on most high streets too! With lots champagne and sweeties I might have got a little carried away with trying on the props, but it was so much fun and I got to hang out with my fave Birmingham bloggers! I will definitely be heading to Claires for some future purchases, I even spotted a cute bowler hat! Have you  been into Claires Accessories recently?
